RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE HONORABLE LEANDRO B. YAÑGOT, JR., CITY COUNCILOR OF BAGUIO TO
FUND FROM HIS LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FUND AN AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS (Php
150,000.00) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ALLEY STAIRS WITH RAILINGS AT LAMPAC TO ORTIZ ALLEY,
PUROK 2, LOWER QUIRINO HILL, BAGUIO CITY.

WHEREAS, the Lower Quirino Hill Barangay has an existing alley from Lampac to Ortiz residence at Purok 2 of this
barangay, however, said alley is not used due to the absence of stairs and railings;

WHEREAS, the barangay council identified said project in order to better serve and create an accessible pathway the
constituents of the barangay especially to Purok 2 residents; 

WHEREAS, said project is a priority project of this barangay, however it cannot be realized due to insufficient funds; 

WHEREAS, as there is no appropriation for this project, the Sangguniang Barangay resolved of seeking the assistance of
City Offcials of Baguio;

 NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all, duly seconded, be it.

RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, that this body now assembled in session, TO RESPECTFULLY REQUEST

RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE HONORABLE BETTY LOURDES F. TABANDA, CITY COUNCILOR OF

BAGUIO TO FUND FROM HER LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FUND AN AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND
PESOS (Php 150,000.00) FOR THE REHABILITATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE BARANGAY STAGE OF
LOWER QUIRINO HILL, BAGUIO CITY.

WHEREAS, the Lower Quirino Hill Barangay has an existing stage which was constructed in the 1980s and has not been
funded and improved for years. It is already in a state of dilapidation and needs improvement;

WHEREAS, the barangay council is planning to repaint, install electric fixtures and construct roll-up doors in order to use
the stage as stage, temporary storage area, and extra area as evacuation center; 

WHEREAS, said project is a priority project of this barangay, however it cannot be realized due to insufficient funds; 

WHEREAS, as there is no appropriation for this project, the Sangguniang Barangay resolved of seeking the assistance of
City Officials of Baguio;
  NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all, duly seconded, be it.

RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, that this body now assembled in session, TO RESPECTFULLY REQUEST

RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE HONORABLE EDISON R. BILOG, VICE MAYOR OF BAGUIO TO FUND FROM
HIS LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FUND AN AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (Php 300,000.00) FOR
THE EXTENSION OF EXISTING BARANGAY HALL, LOWER QUIRINO HILL, BAGUIO CITY.

WHEREAS, the Lower Quirino Hill Barangay has an existing Barangay Hall with a total area of Thirty Two (32) Square
Meters. Said barangay hall is planned by the barangay council to be converted into a livelihood center as soon as the new
barangay hall will be finished. Said area cannot serve its function as barangay hall due to its limited space;

WHEREAS, said project is a priority project of this barangay, however it cannot be realized due to insufficient funds; 
 
WHEREAS, as there is no appropriation for this project, the Sangguniang Barangay resolved of seeking the assistance of
Officials of Baguio;

 NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all, duly seconded, be it.

RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, that this body now assembled in session, TO RESPECTFULLY REQUEST
THE HONORABLE EDISON R. BILOG, VICE MAYOR OF BAGUIO TO FUND FROM HIS LOCAL DEVELOPMENT
FUND AN AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (Php 300,000.00) FOR THE EXTENSION OF

WHEREAS, the Lower Quirino Hill Barangay Council has resolved of scheduling a cleaning day to reorganize barangay
files, conduct inventory of barangay properties and conduct cleaning of the barangay hall;
 WHEREAS, it was agreed to set the cleaning day on October 18, 2014;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all, duly seconded, be it.

PRESIDENT OF LOWER QUIRINO HILL BARANGAY FOR BEING AN OUTSTANDING SENIOR CITIZEN
ACHIEVERS AWARDEE (OSCAA) IN THE CITY OF BAGUIO FOR THE YEAR 2014.

WHEREAS, Hon. Naty N. Pumihic, senior citizen association President of Lower Quirino Hill and likewise an incumbent
Barangay Kagawad of Lower Quirino Hill Barangay was awarded as one of the Outstanding Senior Citizen Achievers
Awardee (OSCAA) of the City Baguio for the year 2014;

WHEREAS, Hon. Pumihic, through the years of being a member of the senior citizen association, exerted utmost efforts
in helping the creation of the association in 1997, contributing much in its development and growth as a successful
organization, the empowerment of itsofficials and displayed nationalism worthy for emulation;

WHEREAS, it was the first time in the history of Lower Quirino Hill that a senior member was awarded in the OSCAA;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all, duly seconded, be it.

barangay constituents suggested to be covered so it can be used as an alley and better serve constituents of Purok 1
going to Purok 2;  
 WHEREAS, said project is a priority project of this barangay; 

WHEREAS, as there is no appropriation for this project, the Sangguniang Barangay resolved of seeking the assistance of
City Councilors of Baguio;

ORDER OF PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MULTI-PURPOSE HALL OF LOWER QUIRINO HILL
BARANGAY, BAGUIO CITY TO INCLUDE THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN OPEN ROOFTOP TO BE USED AS DRYING
AREA AND ROOF GARDEN.

WHEREAS, the City Government of Baguio appropriated in the Annual Investment Plan for 2013 for the Construction of
Multi-Purpose Hall of Lower Quirino Hill Barangay in the amount of Three Million Pesos (Php 3,000,000.00).  

WHEREAS, the Program of Works / Plans of work was already finished however the rooftop was already programmed to
be closed;

WHEREAS, there is a need change the plans specifically to open the rooftop and make it as an open roof deck to be used
as drying area and additional space;

 NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all, duly seconded, be it.

RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, that this body now assembled in session, TO RESPECTFULLY REQUEST

WHEREAS, the Lower Quirino Hill Barangay has an appropriated Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Fund
from 2010-2013 in the Amount of TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE THOUSAND AND ONE HUNDRED TWENTY PESOS
AND 2/100 (289,120.02);

WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the BDRRMFIP to be able to use the funds in other priorities of the barangay to be
used in calamities and calamity prevention;

 NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all, duly seconded, be it.

WHEREAS, the Lower Quirino Hill Barangay has an unappropriated Fund from 2008 Communication Equipment,
Cellphones in the Amount of FORTY SIX THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY THREE PESOS AND 65/100
(46,893.65);

WHEREAS, there is a need to revert the said funds to the general fund to be able to use the funds in other priorities of the
barangay;

 NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all, duly seconded, be it.

 QUIRINO HILL BARANGAY, BAGUIO CITY.

WHEREAS, the Lower Quirino Hill Barangay Women’s Club was just organized and are in the process of initiating
livelihood programs and projects to at least provide employment and extra income to some unemployed members of the
women sector of the barangay;

WHEREAS, due to lack of funds, the Women’s club are soliciting assistance from caring individuals and institutions to be
able to start livelihood programs;

WHEREAS, in fact, for the past two months, the women’s club has already started Rug Making project and are planning
to start Beads making through the assistance of the Office of the City Social Welfare and Development but still cannot
push through with other projests due to lack of funds;

 NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all, duly seconded, be it.

greening of the forests especially the remaining watersheds in the City of Baguio;

WHEREAS, BENECO Director Ferdy K. Bayasen is one of the individuals helping the concerned citizens in the conduct of
tree planting activities within the City of Baguio;
