Inkjet Printer

Inkjet printing is a type of computer printing that restores a digital image by dropping ink
droplets on paper and plastic substrates. Inkjet printers are the most commonly used type of printer,
ranging from small, low-cost consumer models to expensive professional machines.

Professional high-volume inkjet printers are manufactured by a number of companies. The cost
of these printers can range from $ 35,000 to $ 2 million. The carriage widths of these units can range
from 54 "to 192", and ink technologies have tended toward solvents, environmentally friendly solvents,
and UV curing with a newer focus on water-based ink kits. The main applications where these printers
are used are for the outdoor setting of billboards, truck sides and curtains for trucks, construction
graphics and banners, while indoor displays include point-of-sale displays, backlit displays, exhibition
graphics and museum graphics.

An inkjet printer can print from two to four pages per minute, a resolution of approximately 360
dots per inch, so better print quality is achieved, operating costs are relatively low, the only part that
needs to be replaced is an ink cartridge and color inkjet printers have four ink nozzles with Cyan
Magenta Yellow and Black, as these colors can be combined to create any color in the visible spectrum.

The concept of inkjet printers dates back to the 20th century, and the technology was first
widely developed in the early 1950s. The world's first inkjet printer was invented by Ichiro Endo, who
previously worked for Canon in Japan. In the late 1970s, computer-generated inkjet printers for digital
image reproduction were developed, primarily by Epson, Hewlett-Packard and Canon.

In 1982, Robert Howard came up with the idea of making a small color printing system that uses
piezos to spray ink droplets. He founded RH Research and developed a revolutionary technology that led
to the Pixelmaster solid ink color printer using Thermojet technology. Tefzel for removing unwanted
frequencies of liquids. its technology requires that Drop-On-Demand inkjet printing operates above the
piezocuric temperature for the "pre-fill" voltage on the fluid chamber and uses a positive pre-tensioned
preload that is removed and applied to create a "fill" fluid before the drop is "firing". Each drop requires
only one filling / firing pulse and no additional drops should be ruled out if designed correctly.
