18. A man walks 750 m on a bearing of 030°. He the walks on a bearing of 315° until he is due north of his
starting point and stops. Use a scale of 1 cm to 100 m
a. How far dos he walks on the bearing of 315°?
b. How far is he from his starting point when he stops?

19. A captain wants to sail his ship from port A to port B, but the journey cannot be made directly. Port B is
50 km north of A.
The ship sails 20 km on a bearing of 075°.
It then sails 20 km on a bearing of 335° and then drops anchor.
a. How far is the ship from port B when it drops anchor?
b. On what bearing should the captain sail the ship to arrive port B?

20. Bifrost is a burning rainbow bridge that reaches between Midgard (Earth) and Asgard, the realm of the
gods. Bifrost is located inside the FIV triangle. To find its location make the following constructions.

a. Bisect the angle formed by the Forsaken Fortress, Ice Kingdom and Vormir. Label it 𝑚.
b. Bisect the line segment between Forsaken Fortress and Ice Kingdom. Label it 𝑝.
c. Point 𝐴 is the interception between 𝑚 and 𝑝.
d. Draw a circle with radius 3 cm and center in Forsaken Fortress.
e. Draw a circle with radius 2 cm and center 𝐴.
21. The diagram shows a square inscribed in a circle of radius 8 cm.

a. Draw an accurate copy of the diagram.

b. Measure the length of the side of the square, which is marked x in the diagram. Write your
measurement to the nearest millimetre.
22. For each of the following sets of the elevations, sketch the three-dimensional object.

23. These are isometric drawing for four shapes.

For each one, draw the plan (from directon A) and twon elevations (from directions B and C). Use squared
grid.
