Abba Driving School is a well established driving school offering driving
tuition throughout Belfast and Antrim.
ABBA Driving School has been established for many years offering its
services to countless people throughout Belfast, Down and Antrim. Our
training is second to none as is our dedication to the continuing success
of our pupils through superior driving tuition and training.
 
Manual Or Automatic Cars

Candidates of our driving courses are given a £15 discount off our
normal test fees listed above.
Our driving courses can be taken over any period of time although only
the brush-up course can be taken over a single week. For beginners we
would recommend a period of between 5 and 8 weeks but we will
always try to accomodate the needs of the individual. Please note that
the aove prices do not include the DVA test fees must be paid
separately and directly to them.

Driving Theory Test Application - £ 31

 
The Theory test application needs to be completed by you and
now costs £31 via the DSA website. We recommend you
practice the free online theory test we have provided to give
you the best chance of passing first time.  
 
Driving Practical Test Application - from £62

The cost of the practical driving test varies with costs starting

at £62. Once you are taking lessons please consult with your
driving instructor who will be able to advise when to apply for
your driving test. Driving test waiting times can vary between
driving test centres. The application can be done online via the
DSA website.

These costs are related only to the tests and driving lesson
costs. We strongly recommend extra study for the theory test
and reading up about the practical driving test as much as
possible beforehand.  Visit the online shop to buy the all in
one DVD "Driving Test Success" which covers every aspect of
the Driving Test, Driving Theory Test and Hazard Perception.

Unlike some other driving schools and independent

instructors, we do not offer discounts for say 5 or 10 lessons
only to surprise you by demanding a full lesson price - after
the discount, of maybe £25 to £30 per hour. This is where
the others make their money from you. They may even get
you to sign contracts to stay with them and offer no refunds
should you decide to go elsewhere.
With us, you only pay £19 per one full hour's lesson. This
will be the price you pay right up to your test. You will save
right from your first lesson with AMC Driver Training. From
the beginning, you know where you stand with our prices.
We are confident that the saving you make will come from
the proven individual, structured driving course we will set
for you. This will help you through your training and on to
pass your practical driving test in the shortest time possible.
The choice is yours, if you want to book 10 hours in
advance, then you may be interested in the 10 + 2 free offer
below... Then, if you need to rebook another 10 hour
course, you will be offered the same deal. You wouldn't get
an offer like this with many other driving schools in the
Belfast area.

Six Hours.......................Only £80.00

(Beginners Only - No Previous Experience)
 (Must be taken in 3 x 2 hour blocks.)

Ten Lessons + Two Free Hours............£190.00

(Thats a total of 12 hours. The Free Lessons are only
available once the 1st 10 are completed)

(Regular Pupils)
Use of car for test (Weekdays) which includes 1 hour pre-
test lesson - £60.00
Use of car for test (Extended/Saturday Tests) which
includes 1 hour pre-test lesson - £100.00

(Non-Regular Pupils)
Use of car for test which includes 1 hour pre-test lesson -

**(Pupils are subject to a 2 hour assessment lesson at the

cost of £50. At that time, if the instructor is satisfied and
agrees to let the pupil use the training vehicle for test, the
above fee of £150 - which is NON REFUNDABLE, must be
paid to the instructor at the end of the assessment lesson.
This would then make a total of £200 payable to the
instructor. £250 if it is an Extended test or Saturday test)

Intensive Driving Courses

Why take months learning when it can take you just

weeks...
Intensive driving courses are structured for those pupils who
would like to obtain their licence in a short period of time.
Pupils take their lessons during the week and take their
practical test on their last hour of tuition.
*Please Note: a practical test cannot be booked until you
have passed your theory and hazard perception tests!
All Intensive Courses must be completed within a 6 month
period. The pupil must have sat and passed their theory test
within this period.

Picking a Course

25 Hours..........£475
includes free use of car for driving test

The 25 hour course should be suitable for pupils with little

driving experience but feel competent with the basics and
control of the car.

30 Hours..........£555
includes free use of car for driving test

A 30 hour course is aimed at a young confident learner with

minimal driving experience, or an older learner who is a little
nervous but has the basic skills to control the car. These
include steering, stopping and starting and gear changes if
using a manual car.

35 Hours..........£630
includes free use of car for driving test

The 35 hour course is aimed at the confident mature pupil

with little driving experience or a confident young novice
with no driving experience.

40 Hours..........£700
includes free use of car for driving test

The 40 hour course is ideal to suit the young and mature

student alike who has no driving experience at all or whom
is very nervous and requires that little bit extra help.

*These are 'all inclusive' prices. Tuition and use of training

vehicle for the practical test are included in these prices.
With intensive driving courses, practical driving tests are
normally taken weekdays Mon - Fri. Saturday and Evening
tests, an extra cost of £40 will be charged.
On receipt of a non-refundable £100 deposit your booking
will be confirmed.

2 Hour Assessment

If you are unsure of which course to choose we offer a 2

hour assessment lesson in which the instructor can assess
your capabilities and recommend how many hours you
should need to reach a standard to pass your test.

Taking Your Lessons

Theory test passed - The lessons are spread over one or

two weeks with your practical test on the last hour.

Theory test not passed - You can start your lessons straight
away while studying for your theory. Once the theory has
been passed a practical test will be booked for you and you
can continue or increase your lessons leading up to your
practical test.
