A Christmas Carol is a spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens' most well-

known story. Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes

that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of
others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge summates his feelings of
Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he's forced to face his selfish
ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present
and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and
greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" before spend-
ing the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to
him.

Since the summer of 2012, Jason Augustowski and Jill Kerr have been working
together to bring middle and high school students top notch theatre instruc-
tion in Loudoun County. We believe that in order for secondary students to re-
ceive a true appreciation for the craft, they must immerse themselves in all el-
ements of production. Enter Infinite Arts: where students are empowered to
not only excel on stage, but also manage the behind-the-scenes elements that
are so important to a quality show. Gaining experience with direction, stage-
craft, technical theatre, costuming, effects, publicity and photography give our
students the edge they need when applying to fine arts programs.

Two years ago, we opened our company with an enormous success. Summer
Stage 2018’s production of The Wedding Singer left audiences in stitches and
students with important artistic experience. Thank you so much for joining us
for Christmas Carol and we hope to see you again in the summer (here at
Franklin Park) for Spring Awakening and Catch Me if You Can. These experi-
ences positively impacts the lives of all students and adults involved. We cre-
ate theatre companies, communities and families. And we are so eager to have
you on board!

Special Thanks
The Infinite Arts Direction Team (Jason and Jill) would love to take this opportunity to
thank all of the incredible people who made this show possible:
To Dianne Schaffer who helped us secure out rehearsal place, stocked it full of the neces-
saries, and typically arrived even before the direction team to welcome the kids into the
building. It is always a pleasure to work with you.
To Riverside High School’s Marylin Gilligan and Luke Black, thank you so much for the
use of costumes, props, set pieces, and tools. Theatre truly is a community effort and we
really appreciate how you “had our back” with this show! Thank you!
To Ben Mayrides, JP Passino, Steve Rice, and Damon Wright who not only supervised
the teen construction team, but offered unparalleled skills, knowledge, and action to en-
sure our amazing set was not only safe, but beautiful and portable. Set is my number one
stressor in creating a show, and year after year you make it a pleasure and a joy. Thank
you!
To Elizabeth, Les, Joey and Jonathan of Franklin Park Performing Arts Center. Your
care, professionalism, flexibility, knowhow, and organization make this space THE PLACE
to perform. You always go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodat-
ed and Infinite Arts just adores working with you! We cannot wait for all the future
shows!
To Kathleen Eichenlaub for your help in running our box office. We love having some-
one as energetic and welcoming as you there to greet our amazing audiences upon their
entrances. We appreciate your time backstage and behind the scenes as well.
To Jerry Emch for not only helping with construction but also delivering the gravestones
and graveyard fence directly to Franklin Park for use in our creepy future scenes. Your
generosity of time and materials is appreciated.
To Leyla Lytle for our amazing dress rehearsal pictures. Your photography is beautiful
and your time and talents go a long way in helping us capture such special moments.
Special Thanks (cont.)
To Lexie Grandis and Cammie Jackson—two Infinite Arts veterans who didn't have the
schedule this fall to participate in the show and yet still volunteered their incredible
talents and time. Lexie, your prop creation and creativity are second to none and
Cammie, we appreciate all of your planning and organization to assist in acquiring the
necessary costumes for this show. We couldn't have done it without you both!
To Katie Hudson for volunteering her time on our load-in day to not only assist with our
extremely heavy set pieces, but to help organize costumes and props. Love our
community of theatre directors who are willing to help each other out at literally the drop
of the hat. Appreciate your kindness and friendship!
To Kira Mayrides for spreading the word about our show around the community. Our
house would be empty if not for you! Thank you so much for everything that you do!
To retired Navy officer, Bill Lehner for not only helping with set build, but also spending
his entire Veteran's Day driving U-Haul's and Budget trucks with me, loading the set, and
providing unparalleled conversation, laughs and friendship. You are a class act.
To Elizabeth Lehner who produced this show and who continues to help us in countless
and immeasurable ways. From producing, to costumes, to organization, to so much more,
there are few people that could accomplish all of these incredible feats with such ease and
grace. I adore working with you and am endlessly thankful for your friendship.
To OUR INCREDIBLE STUDENTS who poured their hearts into this show (both off and on
stage). Not only were they professional, kind, supportive, and an absolute dream
company, they rocked all of their individual production elements. Whether a chair or a
volunteer, your efforts are what made this show what it was. You should look back and
really think about what you have accomplished here. YOU are the Ghosts of Christmas
and God bless you. We can’t wait to work with all of you middle and high schoolers
during summer and fall of 2020.
And last, but certainly not least, to OUR COMMUNITY. The parents, the friends, the ex-
tended family, the support systems, the audience members who decided to give us a try
and see a very classic musical version: we are so privileged to have your support. It is a
pleasure working with you and your teens to create these environments and worlds. You
continue to honor us with your friendship—and make no mistake, this is one of the most
valued aspects of our lives. Cheers to many more fun adventures!

Patrick Passino (Running Crew) This is Patrick's fourth musical working on stage crew. Last summer,
he participated in crew for Infinite Art's production of Sweeney Todd. When he's not backstage, he en-
joys playing basketball and flag football. Patrick is excited to be a part of Christmas Carol.
Boone Schaefer (Running Crew) Thank you to my mom and dad for encouraging me to join Sister Act. It
was so much fun and I love being on Crew. They also listen to all my bad jokes, so thanks for that too!
Rowan Tully (Running Crew) Rowan is a junior at Riverside High. A Christmas Carol is her sixth show
with Mr. A, and her first with her younger sister, Sloane. Rowan is excited to be a part of the Crew again!
Sloane Tully (Running Crew) I am a 6th grader at Belmont Ridge. I worked on Sister Act over the sum-
mer and really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to doing crew for A Christmas Carol and working with my
older sister Rowan. I've missed doing musicals and I'm very excited to be working with crew and cast
members from Sister Act again.
Marcely Villatoro (Stage Manager) Marcely is thrilled to be doing yet another production with Infinite
Arts! She feels so lucky to be co- stage managers with Anya Passino once again! When she's not doing
theatre or school things you'll often find her writing or listening to her music a little too loud. Big thanks
to her family and friends for their endless support and of course this show could not be possible without
all the hard work the crew put into it! With that said, she hopes you enjoy the show as much as she
does!! :D
Chloe Walker (Running Crew) This my first musical with Infinite arts. However, I have done multiple
musicals in the past with Mr. A. I play soccer and do gymnastics outside of musical and school. I would
like to thank all of the past crews for encouraging me to continue these musical as well as my family.
