Below are book covers for chick lit. Based on what you see from the covers,
make a suitable title for the novel. Write your answer on the space provided.
Then write the theme of the story.

The theme in a story is its underlying message, or 'big idea.' In other

words, what critical belief about life is the author trying to convey in the
writing of a novel, play, short story or poem? This belief, or idea, transcends
cultural barriers. It is usually universal in nature.

Example of a theme in Romeo and Juliet is Love- Forcefulness of love. Even

if they were prevented from seeing each other, they still followed their
hearts‘ desires.
