MINUTES OF THE 82nd CLERGY MEETING

October 5, 2020, Parish of Saint Rose of Lima,

Cabangan, Zambales

1. OPENING WORSHIP
The meeting started at exactly 10:00 am with an opening worship led by Fr. Bryan L.
Biltz.
2. ROLL CALL AND DECLARATION OF QUORUM
The executive secretary certified the presence of all the members of the clergy.
Subsequently, the presiding chairperson, Rt. Rev. Emmanuel F. Sampayan, Jr. declared a
quorum.
3. READING OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES
Deacon Alexis, as the recorder of the clergy read the minutes of the previous meeting.
Motion: 82-05-01: by Fr. Rino and seconded by Fr. Iven, to receive the reading of the
previous minutes. CARRIED.
4. CORRECTIONS AND MATTERS ARISING
*Fr. Rino Soliman clarified if the letter head of San Antonio is “Holy Child Parish” or
“Parish of the Holy Child”. The Bishop said that it is the same, and no longer to be
discuss
*Fr. Rino also added that he had already submitted the remaining 220,060 arrears from
the National Office
*SUNLIFE- Fr. Reymel reported, “Last week, sabi po ng adviser ay mayroon ng
SUNLIFE policy pero hanggang ngayon ay wala pa.” The Bishop insisted that it is not
our fault anymore. He added, “in the absence of the policy, pwede ba tayong makahingi
ng receipt from the National Office or sa mismong SUNLIFE office?”.

WOPIC- Executive meeting on November 14,2020 at the Cathedral of Saint Roche at
Exactly 1:00 pm. LIFI- LIFI meeting, TBA. YIFI- no meeting yet. On the other hand,
the Bishop suggested to the YIFI chaplain to approve the Virtual Bible Study of the
youth.

 Motion 82-05-03: Moved by Deacon Alexis and seconded by Mons. Claro to
approve the YIFI Virtual Bible Study. Carried.
*Liturgy and Music Committee- Malapit na ma- finalize ang Diocesan Liturgy at mag
po-Produce ng copies for trial use na magagamit sa buong taon at the same time for
corrections. We will provide 4 copies each parish. The deadline is on November 22.
There will be a committee meeting for the finalization of the said liturgy on October
12.

6. NEW BUSINESS
6.1 COF/SRD- c.f. Reading Kit
6.2 Parochial Update-
Palauig- Malapit ng matapos ang Altar project by the end of the year. May members na
nagkaroon ng COVID pero naka recover na. In terms of financial status, naubos po ang
buffer fund dahil sa pandemic at sa on going project. Sa simula ng pandemya, 5-10 members
lang ang nakakadalo pero ngayon ay stable na rin ang church goers. Sa programang “ Tulong
para sa Kleriko”, kumuha ang prokya ng mga sponsors para matugunan ang pangangailangan
ng pari pero hindi ginamit ang letter.
Iba- Wala pong on- going project. Sa pandemyang kinaharap, kasalukuyang isa lamang ang
Misa at ito ay sa bayan lamang. Malaki po ang epekto ng pandemya sa Iba dahil umaabot
lamang sa lima ang nagsisimba. Wala ding pumasok na serbisyo simula noong pandemya at
ang tanging pinagkukunan ng pondo ay ang Pledges na na- sustain. Wala pong miyembro na
tinamaan ng COVID.
Botolan- Sa kasalukuyan, may minor project na nagawa at iyon ay ang pagpapataas ng
garahe sa kumbento dahil na rin sa problema sa baha. Malaki rin ang epekto ng pandemya sa
parokya dahil bumaba pa lalo ang nagsisimba kahit alam nating mababa naman talaga ang
mga nagsisimba sa Botolan. Pansamantala rin pong itinigil ang mga serbisyo sa dambana ni
Apo Apang simula noong Marso pagpapatupad ng lockdown hanggang Abril ngunit naibalik
na rin ito hanggang sa ngayon. Gayundin sa financial status ng parokya. Dahil sa malimit na
serbisyo pati ang libing, bumaba din ang income ng parokya. Wala naman pong miyembro na
natamaan ng COVID sa bayan ng Botolan.
Cabangan- Bumagsak po ang income ng Cabangan simula ng ipatupad ang community
quarantine at nag negative po ang simbahan. Nahinto rin ang pledge at naibalik lamang ito
noong Setyembre. Nagbalik na din ang misa sa mga barrio simula noong July hanggang
kasalukuyan at may kumulang 20 church goers din naman. Sa ngayon ay wala pang proyekto
sa simbahan at wala naman ding miyembro na tinamaan ng COVD sa bayan ng Cabangan.
San Felipe- 0 Covid naman mula sa ating mga miyembro sa bayan ng San Felipe. Karamihan
ng pumapasok na serbisyo ay libing at may iilang mga binyag. Bumaba ang bilang ng mga
nakikimisa simula Marso hanggang Mayo, pero ngayon a y nakakabawi na din dahil may
higit 100 na ang nagsisimba. In terms of financial status, naka survive naman ang Cathedral
kahit nag lockdown. Ang proyekto na isinasagawa ay ang pagpapa ayos ng kisame. Sa

 programang “Handog Tulong sa Kleriko”, may buwanang sponsor per barangay. 10 per
barangay.
San Narciso- sa pinansiyal na sitwasyon ng parokya, ang pledge ang humatak sa income ng
parokya. Libing ang karamihang serbisyong pumapasok sa simbahan simula ng pandemya.
Ang kasalukuyang proyekto ngayon ng simbahan ay ang silid ng Obispo o mga bisita.
Naglunsad rin ng programa ang parokya na “Alkansya program” at ginamit din ang “ Handog
tulong sa Kleriko” ngunit pinalitan lamang ng “Handog Alay para sa Pari”. Mayroon pong
isang naitalang kaso ng COVID mula sa ating miyembro pero naka recover din kaagad.
San Antonio- hinati sa tatlong misa ang parokya upang malimitahan ang pagdami ng tao sa
loob ng simbahan. 6am, 7:30, at 4pm. Bumaba ang sacramentals ng simbahan. Nagkaroon po
ng Oath- taking ceremony ang konseho ng parokya, at naglunsad din ng programang
“alkansya alay sa bahay ni Sto. Nino”. Ang kasalukuyang proyekto ng simbahan ay ang pag
sasa- ayos ng bubong nito. Regarding po sa San Esteban lot, hindi pumayag ang may- ari na
makipagpalit. Sa pinansya ng simbahan, nag negative po ang parokya ngunit unti unti din
namang nababawi. Ang pledge ay hindi apektado dahil nagkaroon ng House to house.
Tinanggap din ng konseho ang average stipend at ang “Handog tulong sa Kleriko” bilang
suporta sa pangangailangan ng pari. Wala naman pong naitalang kaso ng COVID mula sa
hanay ng ating mga kasapi sa parokya.
San Marcelino- sa ngayon, umabot mula 220 ang attendance ng mga maninimba tuwing
linggo. May disinfection din na isinasagawa ang LGU every Saturday at kasama rito ang
simbahan. Sa pinansya ng simbahan, nag negative kami pero hindi naman ito naka apekto sa
parokya. Sa sakramento ay may 5 pumasok na binyag at marami ang sa libing. Wala din
namang naitalang kaso ng COVID mula sa hanay ng ating mga miyembro at stable ang
pledge. Ang kasalukuyang proyekto ng simbahan ay ang sidewall na 80% na natapos na.
Nasa Old scheme po ang parokya, hindi po ginawa ang average stipend.
Castillejos- malaki rin ang epekto ng COVID sa bayan ng Castillejos. Sinusunod ang safety
protocols at bibihira din ang mga serbisyo. Bumaba ang pinansya ng simbahan at hindi din
inimplement ang average stipend at Handog tulong sa Kleriko. Amg pledge ay bumaba
lamang ng bahagya. Cancelled din ang mga proyekto higit lalo ang kapilya sa Balaybay.
Wala pong naitalang kaso ng COVID mula sa hanay ng mga miyembro.

6.4 Other Matters- *A gratitude by the Bishop for all who attended the Feast of San Roque.
*9 days Novena Mass schedule for the Feast of Sto Rosario at the Cathedral:9- Bishop Emm,
10- Deacon Alexis, 11- Mons. Claro, 12- Vicar Rolly, 13- Fr. Iven, 14- Fr. Rino, 15- Fr.
Bryan, 16- Fr. Reymel, 17- Bishop Emm. (Note: any adjustments, contact the Vicar).
All Saints Day- liturgical color: Either green or white.
*Misa De Gallo- 50% church goers must follow.
*Clergy Caroling- Dec. 27, Sunday: distribute letters intended for the buffer fund of the Diocese.
All clergy should participate to the Christmas song recording and be played after the
communion.
