3.Use only permanent ink-pens and A4 white sheets. Any part of paper done with lead pencil cannot be claimed for
checking/rechecking.
4.Mention your roll no. and name at top of each page of your answer sheet.
5.Partially or fully copied answers will not be awarded any marks.
6.Must ensure your internet connectivity, Teams and WhatsApp number.
7.Component ratings and no. of components must not be same of all students.

1 Design a SLD with all the required components on ETAP according to following 1 ,3 &
(a) instructions. 10 4

rating must be according to your roll no.)
iii. Power Flows in KVA and Amp
iv. Symbols in ANSI
Give the required parameters of all components and display the readings with units.

(b) Introduce fault on this system. Calculate and Display minimum and maximum fault 10
current values on SLD using short circuit analysis.

(c) Arrange the components required for differential protection and after introducing fault 10
perform the differential protection of transformer by selecting appropriate relay/
relays and other protective devices. Also set pickup and time settings.
Write down detailed procedure and conclusion on A4 pages.
