Introduction to the company:

Hai Ha Confectionary Joint Stock Company ( Haihaco JSC ) is one of the biggest
manufacturers of confectionery in Viet Nam. The company was founded in 1960. After
60 years of developing and flourishing, the company has built solid and widely-known
reputation among customers and other enterprises, accumulated much experience in
business production. With experienced leaders, good business strategies, high-skilled
labors, the company has been advancing steadily and release continuous development
to keep reputable and worthy for the sake of deserving the trust of customers.
At the beginning, the company was just a small factory, generating the capacity of 2000
tons/ year. Nowadays the scale of the company has sky-rocketed to Hai Ha
Confectionery JSC with capacity of 20000 tons/ year. HAIHA Confectionery JSC is the
first enterprise in the field of confectionery production certified: "Hazard Analysis and
Critical Control Points" (HACCP) in Vietnam. This shows the commitment of the leaders
to ensure food safety for consumers’ health.
Achievements: The achievements of the company are recognized:
+        4 Third Labor Medals (1960 - 1970)

+        1 First Labor Medal (1990)
+        1 Third Independence Medal (1997)
+        Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister in 2010

II. Core Business Processes:

The company which has been operating in the form of joint stock Company on
20 January 2014 according to the certificate of business registration (number
0103003614) issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi and
changed the fourth on 7 May 2012. The business activities include:

-        Manufacture and trade of confectionery  and food processing

-        Export and import of raw materials, machinery and equipment, consumer goods,
other commodities.

-        Other business sectors not prohibited by the provisions of law.

III. Organization structure:

Hai Ha Confectionery Joint Stock Company organizes its activities through the 2007
Enterprise Code. The Internal Regulations of the company was accepted by the
General Meeting of Shareholders on March 24 th, 2007.

- General Meeting of Shareholders: The most powerful administrative body of the

Company. They are the makers of every important decision of the Company
through the Enterprise Code and Internal Regulations. Shareholders also decide
 the long-run development plan , capital structure and nominate the Board of
Directors and Center of Command.

- Board of Directors: This is the administrative body of the company that manages
and organizes every activity of the company. They have full right to stand for the
company to decide every issue that matters the company’s benefits.

- Center of Command: Nominated by the Shareholders, represents the

Shareholders to keep track with the admistration and organization of the
company.

- Administrative Council: including 1 Chief Executive Officer , 2 vice CEOs and 1

head accountant. They are nominated by the Board of Directors , responsible
with the Directors and involve in everyday activities of the company.
