It is X-ray tube manufacturing plant for medical CT scan Machine. Worked on behaves of
kelly services on contract in department of Advance manufacturing Engineering.
Role and responsibilities
Management responsibility - Handle the Advance material technology
center the research and development lab of GE BEL site. Responsibility
included planing everyday activity and communicating with respective
cross functional teams, contacting suppliers/vendors, releasing purchase
orders, tracking calibration and preventative maintenance of critical
instruments, and maintaining the safety protocols.
Failure analysis- Carried out the failure analysis of manufacturing
products like metal casting, welding & brazing joints, high speed ball
bearing, heat treated components in their production/development stage
by detailed precision analysis to find out root cause of problem and
provided solution to reduces defect per unit (DPU) in production lines.
Quality assurance - Supplier product quality inspection whenever there is
conflict in manufacturing process. Deal with very wide range material from
metals like stainless steel, mild steel, copper, tungsten, alloys like kovar,
cusil, ceramics, and high temperature glasses & polymers.
Documentation - Publish analysis summary reports, documentation of
standard procedure, maintaining chemical MSDS sheets,5s activity, etc.
Key achievement - (1)Worked on finding the root cause for issue of uneven
coating of stainless steel frame in heat treatment which saved 7 lake
rupees in 3 months. (2) Played key role in resolving the evaporation mark
problem of X-ray tube glass frames which was existing from past two year.

PROJECTS
M.Tech project- Development of bio compatible super
hydrophobic coating on degradable magnesium implant
(07/2019 - 08/2020)
Aim of the project was reduces the corrosion rate of resorbable
magnesium implant in body fluid by making liquid repellent coating.
Bangalore Project involves casting of mg-zn alloys, conversion coating and thermal
spray coating with hydroxyapatite powder on substrate, followed by
making bio compatibility super hydrophobic on surface.
Successfully able to develope robust hysrophobic coating and reduced
the degradation rate to a good level.

M.Tech mini project- Diffusible hydrogen content
measurement of welding joint (11/2018 - 12/2018)
Setup to measure the amount of diffused hydrogen in the weld metal
using mercury displacement method.
B.Tech project- Fracture behavior study of SS 316L
orthopedic fixture (12/2014 - 05/2015)
Studied the failure behavior of femur nail, hip joint stem and linked
underlying reasons for regular fracture in patient’s body during recovery.
