3E: TEAM COMPOSITION AND TASK ASSIGNMENTS

Team Organization
The Project Team has been formed and organized in such a way as to enable the Consultant to provide the
optimum combination of resources and experience to assure the successful completion of the Project. The main
responsibility of the, Consultancy Services to be provided will lie with the Team Leader of the project. He will
be mobilizing all the resources available with the Firm so that the project works are carried out smoothly. He will
also identify, based upon the reports and feedback they will receive from the Project Team Members, and decide
about the type of backstopping support required at any time, and will mobilize the same. He will develop
appropriate linkage with the Client, Head Office and Consultant's Project Personnel and brief them regularly as
per the established lines of communication.
Back-up support from the Head Office will be made to the Consultant's Project Teams during the whole period
of services for carrying out their duties to a successful completion of the Project in consummate workman-like
manner. The Team Leader relevant advisors and support staffs will always be alert to the needs of Project Teams
and will promptly respond with required information, supplies and other resources.
Staffing Schedule
The Consultant has put a lot of efforts in understanding the nature, size, scope and the importance of the
proposed services, which have been reflected in above section of this Proposal. Similarly, a careful
consideration has also been made while selecting the proposed team members for the Project. The Consultant
fully understands that despite the experience and a sound establishment of the firms, the success of the Project
will depend in large measure on the composition of the Project Team. The team must represent a combination of
inter-disciplinary skills, including a high degree of technical expertise in a number of disciplines, and successful
professional experience in similar type of projects, with cross-cultural skills enabling them to work
collaboratively and aptly with Client's officials, other agencies and personnel related to the proposed Project.

design personnel as per the agreed terms.

as detailed out in the scope of the study.
Review available data/reports and also that obtained from
surveys, studies, and investigations related with sewerage.
Carry out all activities as detailed out in the scope of the
study, approach and procedures etc.
Prepare Preliminary design, socio-economic report, Cost
estimates etc. for Sewerage network and treatment as
detailed out in scope of the study.
Anticipate the likely environmental impact of carrying out
various subprojects and proactively plan to take necessary
action so that implementation is not delayed.
Proactively anticipate and carry out any other activity as per
the scope of the study.

Savitiri Devi Sociologist/GESI Carry out activities described in and/or that follows from the
Shrestha Specialist activities described in the scope of the study/Approach and
procedures as far as relevant to social study and those
assigned by Team Leader.
Prepare socio-economic profile of the project including
social maps using appropriate techniques and give results
regarding social, economic, health and sanitation status of
the community, especially focusing on the likely
improvement in health status of the citizens; likely impact of
health and hygiene education program to be implemented
during the project; willingness to pay for sewerage service;
ability to pay for sewerage service;
Based on the different socio-economic strata, prepare, for
the project, possible structures for differential contribution in

capital investment, O&M and tariff etc for consideration of


project authorities
Develop social inclusion program for specially benefiting
the poor and weaker sections of the project on priority and
with additional assistance, support and efforts.
Proactively make a effective program with WUA and

households' tap connection including socially and
economically backward groups.
Proactively anticipate and carry out any other activity as per
the scope of the study.

Surendra Maharjan Surveyor Carry out activities described in and/or that follows from the
activities described in the scope of work related to the field
of consultant and those assigned by Team Leader.
Collect and review all available surveys and investigations.
Responsible for assessing the need for survey and
investigation and shall plan the survey in such a manner that
all necessary survey data are available to key experts for
designing.
Responsible for supervising, monitoring and quality of the
survey work.
Assist in finalizing the mobilization schedule of key experts
according to the survey need and expected completion time
of surveys.
Proactively anticipate and carry out any other activity as per
the scope of work.
