“Product distribution: the basics”
These basic concepts are apt If you have a business and you need to transport
materials, supplies or tools.
Choosing the right transport mode means reaching a balance between time and
budget constraints should be the most important factor in your decision making.
The speed of transportation is also important: if you have perishable items, make
sure that the mode of transport you choose is reliable so that customers are not
disappointed.
If you are transporting hazardous products contact the Dangerous Goods Branch
of the Department of Transportation.
If your products are expensive or if you are sending your product by mail, you are
sure it is in place or in the mail, sure that it is paid by the supplier or customer to
avoid confusion.
If your cargo is valuable, it may be necessary to use a vehicle to follow up so you
know exactly where you are.
Ensure that cargoes are properly packaged and labeled to reduce the risk.
Modes of transport

Road transport is cheap, which may be helpful, having to take into account the
height, weight and length restrictions.
Air freight is undoubtedly the fastest way to transport your products over distances,
