THS a permanent move to online tertiary education (-)

The situation that we have in the status quo, we have been practicing this kind of learning by online
education since the covid-19 pandemic. We do that because we have to do that not to spread the virus
even more. But when the context shifted towards doing this permanently, we think it would create
many problems, and the main problem is the Education quality that is not guaranteed.

Our goal here is that we want to make a better education quality for university. And what we want to do
this because we don't want to continue this online education system.

1. When they say the problem with face-to-face learning is that bullying,
we think it's not true because, as we can see, the situation that we have in the sq a lot of
universities has already very progressive. Every bullying always gets condemned by society
anyway. So, the likeliness of bullying is very little.
2. They say that they could attain better education quality and they are less likely to be lazy
because they are mature anyway
NO, understanding and comprehension are not determined by your age and your matureness.
And we think under their side of the house it's going to be worse it is dependent on how you
could understand the material thoroughly and learn the concept of the material.

And TALKING BOUT ACCESSIBILITY

-> ALTERNATIF LAIN: MAHASISWA, UDAH ADA KERINGANAN BIAYA DARI GOC, so we think their
argument isn't urgent to propose
2. clarify, Presentation of the lecturer is also available in offline

Why is this something that is not justified to do in the first place?

Online learning requires several supporting facilities and infrastructure so that the learning process runs
smoothly, such as cellphones, laptops, the internet. And this requires a higher cost.

The online system that was implemented during this pandemic has received many complaints from
students or families. Such as student understanding cannot be fully understood and must add to
knowledge in other ways that increase costs, such as private tutoring or online tutoring. on the other
hand

Even if the burden of living costs on our side is expensive, it is okay because the students are more likely
to be difficult to adapt to on the GOVT side. Why is that? It's because many faculties require a lot of
hands-on practice. Will hinder the process of training student skills were. For example, medical students
should be able to directly touch and feel parts of the human body with standards or direct companions
from the lecturer. This cannot be done routinely if learning uses an online system. and if it's done online
this will add to the cost of each student because these students do not have sufficient equipment to
practice at home. and even if they are allowed to go to university, they are unlikely to do so together
and for a long time. so, this creates bad things such as making students often commute from campus
which causes the cost is more expensive.

Why is it bad?

If we look at the situation right now, yes, we can agree with the fact that in the status quo we need to
do this due to the pandemic. But when the pandemic over, and if we keep continuing this. We don't
think it would create a better student and a better environment in the end. The characterization of
tertiary education is, we need an education that is going to lead us to live the world, right? What does
that mean? It means in tertiary education we need to be ready to socialize in the real world, and in the
online education system we don't really get that. Why? It's because in online education we are limited
to socialize with each other, and the only thing that we have right now is only with video calling and
texting. on our side why is it okay if our costs are more expensive? this can also train these new students
to survive more. they can train to manage their own finances; they can also train to try to be mature and
not spoil. and this is what we mean why this can make these students more social at the end of the day.

There are also Indirect negative impacts from the long-term online learning side include

1. Students tend to be undisciplined because there is no direct supervision from the teacher and
students are less serious. besides that, there are also many distractions during online learning. like the
internet is down or something like that.

2. Lack of socialization and cooperation between students, teachers, and the campus environment. so
that emotionally the bond is very low. So that in the end of the day it would create honesty in the
achievement assessment system for students is not a priority for students.
