Procedure for Formate Base Mud.

 Before mixing.

1. Drilled Top plug and bottom plug Float collar and shoe track (Casing shoe
not drilled) with pre-existing mud.
2. Change over pre-existing mud with Bore well water.
3. Clean out the well with cleaning pills- Pumped 30bbl hi-viscous pill, 20bbl
surfactant pill, 30bbl Hi viscous pill. And circulate out the pill and check the
NTU of water. POOH for BHA change.
4. Flush all the suction and Discharge lines.
5. Clean all mud tanks properly. Mean time RIH with New PDC Bit.
6. Check all mud tank line leakage. Mean time arrange chemicals which going
to use.
7. Store sweet water (TDS 349) in reserve tank.

 Formate mud mixing recipe.

1. Take sweet water in mixing tank and measure the volume of

water.
2. Mix the chemical as per concentration.
3. Prepared 20m³ Formate base mud concentration are below.
 4. Prepared formate mud 150m³ with above Concentration.
5. Prepared 75 bbls spacer with sodium, potassium formate and
Xanthan with sg 1.20.
6. Pumped spacer 62bbls, Displace through formate mud.
7. Water observed on the surface in behind spacer come on surface
and it take in Separate tank.
8. Established Circulation for 16 hours due to mud conditioning.

DRILLING DAY: 49 PROGRESS: 16m

Continue Formate mud mixing, Prepared 150m³ Formate mud. Prepares Spacer and pump 62bbls
spacer Displaced the KCl polymer mud with formate base mud with 4038 strokes. Established
circulation with 8 cycle. Tag casing shoe @ 3061m and drilled the same. Tag Formation @
3064m. Start 6” hole drilling from 3064m upto 3080m. While pick up the string observed T/Pull
8-10T @ 3079m, spot cleared by back reaming. Further Drilling is in progress

11/12/2020 DEPTH @ 00:00 hr.: 3080 m DEPTH @ 24:00 hr.: 3147m

DRILLING DAY: 50 PROGRESS: 67m

Continued drilling and drill ahead 6"hole from 3080m up to 3147m. Pick up the string at every 2m
interval, ream and wash down twice the Kelly length before every pipe connection. While pick up Kelly
observed tight pull 8T @3105m spot cleared by back reaming. Further Drilling is in progress.

12/12/2020 DEPTH @ 00:00 hr.: 3147 m DEPTH @ 24:00 hr.: 3205m

DRILLING DAY: 51 PROGRESS: 58m

Continued drilling and drill ahead 6"hole from 3147m up to 3105m. Pick up the string at every 2m
interval, ream and wash down twice the Kelly length before every pipe connection. While pick up Kelly
observed tight pull 5T @3193m spot cleared by back reaming. TD completed @ 3205m. Established
circulation with 2 cycle. Wiper trip starts from 3205m. Pump out 3 single and without pump and with
Kelly POOH 2 single DP. POOH stand by stand from 3145m up to 3057m (Inside shoe). Back RIH from
3057m upto 3145m, Make up Kelly ream and wash down upto bottom 3205m. Further circulation start
prior to POOH for logging.

DRILLING DAY: 52 PROGRESS: 0m

Continued Circulation accomplished with 2 cycle with 7810 strokes. Pump out 3 single DP from 3205m,
and 2 single without pump & with Kelly. Pump slug 10bbl of 1.20sg. POOH stand by stand from 3145m
upto surface and BHA lay down. POOH Bit dull Grading 1-0-NO-A-X-1/16-NO-Log.

Well hand over to logging crew.
