AN EXECUTIVE ORDER CREATING CONTRACT TRACING TEAM (CCT) IN THE BARANGAY OF

NEW TANGLAG, TABUK CITY, KALINGA, PROVINCE.

WHEREAS, in response to the growing concern over the outbreak of coronavirus and in line
with the advisory of Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) dated July 7, 2020, reiterating strict
implementation of the requirements of home quarantine in order to avoid the further spread of
the virus;

WHEREAS, as per DILG memorandum dated 10 August 2020, mandating the creation of
Barangay Contract Tracing Team and to ensure that the existing protocols of home quarantine
for COVID-19 positive cases either asymptomatic or exhibiting mild symptoms shall comply with
the guidelines;

NOW THEREFORE, by virtue of the power vested in me by law, I hereby order the following:

Section I. ORGANIZATION. There hereby organized a Barangay Contract Tracing Team (BCTT).

Section II. COMPOSITION. The Barangay Contract Tracing Team shall be composed of:

Section III. FUNCTIONS:

1. Conduct house visitation and ensure that those COVID-19 who do not qualify for home
quarantine be properly referred to an appropriate heath facility or government
management isolation facility, whichever is applicable based on existing national
guidelines.
2. Conduct contract tracing for all persons with known exposure to a COVID-19 patient, to
ensure that they are strictly observing appropriate home quarantine measures or are
properly situated in a government managed isolation facility and;
3. Monitor the status of probable, suspected, and confirmed cases including family
members with known contact to a confirmed case to mitigate the spread of the virus.
