TOUCHLESS
OPENING
AND CLOSING
RFID – reliable identification by radio.

RFID, i.e. Radio Frequency IDentification, replaces the mechanical key with
the electronic transponder in the form of a card or chip.
This makes locking and unlocking more flexible, more reliable, cheaper and
touchless. The transponder is briefly passed over the terminal, and receives
sufficient energy from an electromagnetic field to transmit its information.
The terminal is in contact with the control centre, and replies with “Access
granted” or “Access denied”.
