Much of the world's data resides in databases. SQL (or Structured Query Language)
is a powerful language which is used for communicating with and extracting data
from databases. A working knowledge of databases and SQL is a must if you want to
become a data scientist. The purpose of this course is to introduce relational
database concepts and help you learn and apply foundational knowledge of the SQL
language. It is also intended to get you started with performing SQL access in a
data science environment. The emphasis in this course is on hands-on and practical
learning . As such, you will work with real databases, real data science tools, and
real-world datasets. You will create a database instance in the cloud. Through a
series of hands-on labs you will practice building and running SQL queries. You
will also learn how to access databases from Jupyter notebooks using SQL and
Python. No prior knowledge of databases, SQL, Python, or programming is required.
Anyone can audit this course at no-charge. If you choose to take this course and
earn the Coursera course certificate, you can also earn an IBM digital badge upon
successful completion of the course. LIMITED TIME OFFER: Subscription is only $39
USD per month for access to graded materials and a certificate.

I'm a student of engineering background and my college belongs to tier 3 category.

I want to learn from this site to achieve a good understandings about data science.
My father hardly manages the money to pay on my college fees but still I'm
unsatisfied with the education provided in college. My family has no any support
from the relatives or from other sides. That's why it is my complete responsibility
to be ready for any job. It is my need to be taught by talented teachers and for
that I should have more money to pay but my financial condition at home is not so
good that I can pay for any course. I want to study for the better future of my
family. I know that i can see the videos of any course for free but no one will
evaluate me for any job if I have no any certificate to show. I also want to take
part in discussion forums which would be available if I have paid for courses. The
certificate will prove my status of learning. I hope that I can still do my course
if Coursera would consider the seekers like me.

My ultimate goal is to learn and achieve a good knowledge about which I'm searching
for a job. I want to take this course as I want to learn SQL. If I only know the
Python, R and lots of plotting but have no any knowledge of data management then
how can I be a good data scientist. Taking this course will help me to understand
the database because data science is a multidisciplinary field that uses scientific
methods, processes, algorithms, and systems to extract knowledge from data in
various forms. SQL is Structured Query Language used to access, manipulate, update
the data. SQL deals with relational databases. SQL is needed to get the data from a
Database. By doing this course I can demonstrate my understanding on data access.
There is lots of stuffs to be known for a better company. I will be having good
knowledge on it if I will go throughout this course and it will also help me to
build my resume better. In this way I can shape my career in a good path.

My father has no any constant source of income. He is a farmer and hardly manages

My ultimate goal is to learn and achieve a good knowledge about which I'm searching
for a job. I want to take this course as I want to learn for a better programming
skills. In this course I have a better chance to brush up my understandings in
programming world. Learning to code can help open up new areas of opportunity in my
career and ultimately make me a more flexible candidate in a rapidly-shifting
digital economy. I will be having an opportunity to learn something practical and
new with this course. One might think that coding and programming skills are only
valuable for people working in highly technical specialist jobs. But It's not true
as non-technical field people also willing to learn programming. I am willing to be
a good programmer with a potential of solving any algorithmic problem with
different programs. I will be having good knowledge on it if I will go throughout
this course and it will also help me to build my resume better. In this way I can
land my career in a good path.
