Dear Lale Oner,

The 4th International Conference on Transportation Geotechnics (4th ICTG) will be held
as a virtual event on May 24 – 27, 2021. The 4th ICTG aims to apply broad engineering
to bridge the gap between Pavement/Railway Engineering and Geotechnical
Engineering, and to promote cooperation and exchange of information about the
geotechnical aspects in design, construction, maintenance, environmental aspects, and
monitoring of roads, railways, airfields and harbor facilities.

Deadline for author registration is now approaching for 4th ICTG. If you are an author,
please register by March 1, 2021 to secure your conference presentation spot and
guarantee your paper publication in the conference proceedings by Springer.

The organizing committee is working hard to ensure the 4th ICTG will be a major
successful event attracting top researchers and professionals in our field. More than
264 papers (divided under 16 themes) are accepted for presentation and publication in
the conference proceedings. Preconference events include five specialized workshops,
a short course on geosynthetics, and meeting of Young Transportation Geotechnics
Engineers (YTGE). Please check the conference website for the major highlights
including an outstanding line of distinguished keynote/special lecture speakers, subject
themes covered for conference podium and poster sessions, and for the preliminary
program and list of accepted papers.

The 4th ICTG will have the best of Virtual Platform events including a virtual conference
venue with auditoriums, exhibit halls, and rooms for poster sessions and social events.
All conference sessions will be held live and simu-live and recorded to make the
conference materials available to all registrants for three months.

Conference Proceedings book will be published by Springer. Authors with submitted
papers accepted for publication in Springer proceedings will have to register by March
