PM of the last Friday of the Semester. Your cover page should bear name (s),
registration number (s), signature (s), and submission date.
Task 1: Using BJT transistor 2N2222A, design and simulate (using appropriate software) a CE
amplifier with lower cutoff frequency of 100 Hz and upper cutoff frequency of . Use
voltage divider biasing with a single voltage source of 15 V.
Task 2
Design a one-stage common-emitter preamplifier that can amplify a 10 mV (rms) microphone
signal and produce a 0.5 V (rms) output signal. The source resistance of the microphone is 1 kΩ.
Use standard resistor values in the design and specify the value of β required. After your design,
use BJT transistor 2N2222A to simulate your design model. State and justify any adjustments
you make between designed and simulated values.
