A weekend holidays is a chance of students to relax and pick up energy for a next week better. As in this
situation, there are three choices that are going fishing, going to the countryside and having a BBQ
party for us to spending our weekend. Among three options, we firmly believe that going to the
countryside is the best choice, because of some following reasons.
To begin with, I would like to start with benefit of going to the countryside. The first great impression of
countryside is that there are a hosts of green trees shadow along both sides of the roads to make ease and
relaxing feelings for people that travel in, it also makes beautiful and peaceful landscapes uniquely that
we never enjoyed in BBQ parties or going to fishing. Moreover, we can meet and communicate with local
people to widen ourselves mind how about daily activities, farming works, and both their hardships and
happiness as well. In addition, we also have exciting experiences by engaging with local people to
harvest agricultural products like rice, corn and so on. These activities are impossible if we go fishing or
attending a BBQ party.
On top of that, we can get healthy problem like overweight, increased cholesterol, and other illness with
having BBQ too much, moreover, it takes a lot of money comparing to visiting the countryside.
Finally, going fishing is also a reasonable activity, however, it has few benefits than going to the
countryside.
To sum up, because of these reasons that we mentioned about, it is evident that visiting to the countryside
is the best choice for us.

It’s your best friend’s birthday next week and you want to buy him/her a gift. Three
options have been considered: an e-dictionary, a mobile phone or a digital camera.
Which do you think would be the best gift for your best friend?

My best friend’s is Son. His birthday is on next week. I am considering three choices an
e-dictionary, a mobile phone, or a digital camera to buy for him. I personally think that a
mobile phone is the best choice because it brings the most benefits.
First, it is a convenient device. Many functions are built in on a mobile phone, so he can
call or chat with another people everywhere, anytime. Furthermore, he can use it to take
a photo if you have not a camera. In contrast, since there is only a function if we have a
digital camera or a e-dictionary.
Second, there are a lot of application for education on a mobile phone. He can use a
mobile phone to search information from social network on the internet or learning
online with much application. Besides, a mobile phone may be an e-dictionary, it is easy
to use when we need. However, an e-dictionary or a digital camera is not available for
educational activities.
To sum up, a mobile phone is the best gift for my best friend because it is a convenient
device and useful for education. Therefore, I believe that it is the best choice to buy for
him.

You’re living in a big city and you’re thinking of the best means of transport for
getting around the city every day. Three options have been considered: by
motorbike, by car or by bus. Which form of transport do you think would be the
best choice?

Today, there are many ways for people living in a big city choose for getting around the
city every day such as motorbike, bus or car. I strongly think that the motorbike is the
best choice because it has the most benefits.
First, there are some advantages when using motorbike. I can go to work by motorbike
every day and it does not take more time than a car or bus when going around the city.
In contract, the streets are small with a lot of alleys so it is not suitable for car and bus.
Secondly, using motorbike helps me save money. The cost for a motorbike is less
expensive than a car and I can keep my motorbike in my house instead of hiring another
place to park. Furthermore, I feel comfortable when using a motorbike to get around
the city. I can enjoy fresh air and beautiful views during the journey. These things are
not in the bus and car, the air is often not fresh in it.
To sum up, I have many benefits if I uses motorbike to get around the city such as
convenient and saving money. Therefore, I believe that it is the best vehicle to choose.

To accumulate experiences for students, these days, students usually get somethings to do to spend the
summer holidays significantly. In this situation of topic, a group of students have three choices to do,
that are travelling, doing volunteer work and trying a part-time job. Among three options, I firmly believe
that traveling is the best choice for them, because of some following reasons.
To begin with, I would like to start with the benefits of travelling to students. First, traveling helps
enlightening them as to experiences and skills that will be better for their study. Based on traveling,
students can meet several people to communicate, and visit to somewhere for enjoying beautiful
landscapes or traditional foods. Second, they can improve independent and teamwork ability in traveling
condition, such as to make decisions about what, when and how to do, and take themselves responsibility
for those. In addition, they also have a lot of chances to practice their foreign language skill better.
On top of that, although volunteer work is a significant work, it is not properly for students to do it
because while summer holidays is a chance for them to relax and pick up energy necessarily for next
school year, this activity require them instantly hard working during summer time to get the result better,
so in my opinion, doing volunteer is not a good choice for this case. In term of relaxing at home, I also do
not support because this activity causes them a passive lifestyle and have no more any interesting
experiences for the new our semester.
To sum up, traveling is the best way for us to spend our summer holiday because of these reasons we
mentioned above.

You and your friends are going shopping for food this weekend. There are three
places for shopping food: an outdoor market, a supermarket and a mini grocery
store. Which one would you choose?

Today, many people choose a supermarket and a mini grocery store to shop for food on
weekend, but some people still like shopping in an outdoor market. In my opinion,
shopping in an outdoor market is a the best choice because it has most benefits.
First, there are many convenient things in an outdoor market. It is often opened in early
mornings, so we can buy food before we go to work. Furthermore, It does not take much
time to go to buy food because we do not hire a place for our vehicle. In contrast, since a
supermarket and a mini grocery store are often opened late which is often suitable for
people having much free time.
Secondly, shopping for food in an outdoor has some advantages. We can buy food with a
cheaper price than other places. Besides, we can buy a variety of foods. These things are
not in a mini grocery store and a supermarket, we pay much money for the fee of
services.
To sum up, shopping in an outdoor market brings some benefits such as convenient and
various choices. Therefore, I believe that it is the best to choose for shopping on this
weekend.

For a person, marriage is memorable landmark which brings big changes to her/his life.
Typically, a new Wedd-couple should move to live together in all remain their life. in this
situation, my friend has three choices to do that: living with her husband’s family, living
with her parents, or living independently in a rent house. Among three option, I firmly
believe that living with her husband’s parents is the best choice for some following
reasons.
First, By Vietnamese people tradition, after the wedding, the bride usually moves to live
with her husband’s family. This helps her not only improving her husband’s relatives
relationship but also feeling less confused in their routine activities because she can be
received supporting from parents-in-law and other relatives, she also can save amount of
money for house renting that she must pay if they decide living independently in a rent
house. Moreover, although parents-in-law’s supporting is less effective than this of her
parents before, this can help her feel more independent, responsible and mature.
Second, living with her parents helps her really having the best support compare to
remain options, but it is not the best choice because of reason I have just expressed in
previous paragraph.
Last but not least, I do not support option about living independently in a rent house
because There will be so many difficulties that she faced from the beginning such as
money for house rent, household equipment, foods, clothes, and others. Also, she can be
stressful due to solve a lot of work and housework herself.
To sum up, moving to live with her husband’s family is the best choice for my friends
because of all reasons I mentioned above.

The local government is going to build a public facility. There are three options:
a park, a sport center, and a library. Which one is the best choice for your
community?

center, and a library. Among three options, I strongly believe that building a part should be a top priority

On top of that, a sport center is also good task that government can do, but I think benefit of it less
important than building a park because its influences only for people who engage to sport activities.
Moreover, it can cause negative impact to environment during its processing.
In term of building a library, I think it is not very important, because today information technology
develops rapidly, the Internet become the biggest and most convenient library with a host of huge data
repositories all the world that readers can access anywhere and anytime what they need, also these data
resources instantly are updated in latest.
To sum up, building a park is the best choice for local government because of these reasons we
mentioned above.
