2. LOOK LIKE (DIŞ GÖRÜNÜŞ, FİZİKSEL ÖZELLİK SORAR)

 ‘Look like’ kalıbı her zaman dış görünüş sorar. Cevapta mutlaka fiziksel özellik belirtilir.

Çağla: What does Cem look like? Cem’in dış görünüşü nasıldır?
Arda: He is tall and handsome. O, uzun ve yakışıklıdır.
Yağmur: What do you look like? Sen nasıl birisin? Görünüşün nasıl?
Lale: I’m thin, medium height and young. Ben zayıf, orta boylu ve gencim.

 Soruda ‘am, is, are’ ve ‘like’ varsa, orada kişilik sorulur. Cevapta kişilik özelliği belirtilir.

COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVES (KARŞILAŞTIRMA SIFATLARI / DAHA)

 İki ya da daha fazla şeyi kıyaslarken bu yapıyı kullanırız. Temelde üç şekilde kullanılır.
 Sıfatımız kısa, yani tek heceli ise sıfatın sonuna ‘r, er ya da ier’ eklerinden biri gelir.
 Tall (Uzun) – Taller (Daha uzun)  Young (Genç) – Younger (Daha genç)
 Smart (Zeki) – Smarter (Daha zeki)  Short (Kısa) – Shorter (Daha kısa)

 Cümle kurarken mutlaka kıyasladığımız iki şey arasında “than” kelimesi olmalı.
