4 Academic Performance

Academic performance is the measurement of student’s achievement across various academic subjects.
Teachers and education officials typically measure achievement using classroom performance,
graduation rates and results from standardized tests.[ CITATION yvo98 \l 1033 ] elaborated that student
performance is dependent on socio economic background as per their level of performance with
statistically differences, grade level and student types. As being a dependent variable, Academic
performance is evaluated through grade in exams, effective presentation and assignment..
Academic performance is how the student perceives the factors to improve performance and
argues towards progress in studies. Similarly, students with good academic performance have better
learning techniques, study habits and physical resources. So that they can have a better chance to find
out the high paid jobs. Hence, if student realize that creativity and knowledge in academic field will
contribute meaningfully in enhancing his/her performance then he/she will tend to improve betterment
in study.
