Khat is chocolate in general?

is a raw or processed food produced from the seed of the tropical Theobroma cacao tree. The
fruit, known as cacao beans, are fermented, dried, roasted, and ground, and the resulting product is called
cocoa liquor, which can be separated into cocoa butter, a smooth, solid fat used in both food and
cosmetics, and cocoa powder. Cocoa butter and cocoa powder are combined in various proportions with
other ingredients to produce chocolate. Common varieties of chocolate are dark chocolate, milk
chocolate, and white chocolate. Chocolate can be eaten on its own, but it also pairs well with dried
or candied fruits, nuts, fondant, and marzipan.

Recent researchers have found ways of defining the nature of chocolate and its effect towards our health.
By making the right choices, you will see that chocolate too can contribute to a better well-being. All
these times, chocolates are infamous as a fattening food and causes of acnes.

On the other hand, chocolate is made from plants, which means it contains many of the health benefits of
dark vegetables. These benefits are from flavonoids, which act as antioxidants. Yes, chocolate is a
champion antioxidant! Antioxidants protect the body from aging caused by free radicals, which can
cause damage that leads to heart disease.

Antioxidants bond to free radicals and whisk them from your body via digestion and other means. No
doubt, there are many other food containing antioxidant, such as red wine, green tea, pomegranate,
blueberries, strawberries and etc. However, chocolate topped all of them. Among so many types of
chocolates, dark chocolate contain the most antioxidant. Antioxidant-rich diets have been linked to a
lowered risk of heart attacks, stroke, cardiovascular disease, cancer, high blood pressure, cholesterol
problems, arthritis, asthma, Alzheimer¶s and more.

In this research, we choose chocolate as the topic because chocolate has become one of the most popular
food types and flavors not only in Malaysia but throughout the world. Chocolate is one of the things that
we can give as present during certain occasion such as birthday, anniversary, Valentine¶s Day and etc.
Chocolate is also used in cold and hot beverages, to produce chocolate milk and hot chocolate. Chocolate
also can be used in many ways such as an aroma for perfume, as a spa treatment, toothpaste flavor and
popular used as an ingredient for making cakes, biscuits and pastries.

   c

In order to achieve the objective of this research, adequate method of data collection should be taking into
consideration. This data is important to obtain relevant information that is needed in carrying this
research. In carrying out this research, the information and data collected are divided into two categories
such as primary and secondary data. The framework of the research methodology is shown in diagram 1.

1.c First stage

In this stage, it would be early discussed on the general information of proposed topic of study,
problem and issue that need to be analyzed. The stage also contains on the objectives, scope and
limitation.

2.c Second stage

This stage is about the literature review which is a comprehensive literature study carried out
through a variety of information such as primary and secondary data. The primary data is first
hand, raw material and information being obtained through distribution of questionnaires to the
respondents. For secondary data, information which is readily available from sources such as
books, magazines, journals from the internet and newspapers.

3.c Third stage

After all information and data have been gathered, the data will be analyzed accordingly in the
appropriate manner. The information analyzed will be presented in the form of graphs, tables or
other suitable manner to ensure better understanding of the results.

4.c Fourth stage

The final stage includes finding of the result and conclusion. Analysis of the gathered information
and data will establish findings of the research. Through the findings a final conclusion of the
research can be drawn accordingly and therefore any relevant suggestion can be made in this
research.
