Method Description: This method is designed according to ISO 6892-1 2009. It is intended for use of
performing a tension test without using an extensometer. To switch specimen geometry from one to
another:
(1) Select the area calculation for the specimen geometry in the Area Formula dropdown list.
(2) Select the specimen geometry, round or rectangular, from the Specimen Shape dropdown list in
the PanelInputs.
(3) In the Post-Specimen section of Test Flow, choose Final Diameter as post-test input if testing a
roundspecimen, and Final Width and Final Thickness if testing a rectangular specimen.
(4) In the result Review page, choose the Final Diameter as a result if testing a round specimen, and
FinalWidth and Final Thickness as results if testing a rectangular specimen.
