track of their progress but along the way he polished his idea and decided to go with an app too.

single platform to keep track of their running activity. He successfully added all the features that
Jacobs was keen on providing the best features to his customers. For him, best way to build
RunKeeper was through by creating an exemplary user experience. Execution of the product
played a key role in the success of his company, Jacobs had saved up a tidy sum of money and
was able to manage them in a well manner for example he could have hired expensive web
developers, but he went for employees for asked for much less money. He also hired a team of 5
people who met weekly for development of the app. In the end Jason Jacobs was able launched
this app in short period of time. He placed execution of his product before promotion, though he
promoted his product when possible but he did turn down many promotional opportunities.
Jacobs still believes that he only has scratched the surface of running and wishes to work on it
more before he add other features on his app such as climbing and swimming which show how
case study it is quite clear he did hold the quality of tenacity. There were many doubters along
the way, but he remained steadfast and believed in his idea which in the end lead to the success
