Of Dragons and Dwarves

The heroes will see them hanging around with


measuring and digging equipment. The three deny
knowing anything, but Pob isn’t the brightest
and says things like “We definitely haven’t lost
a golem” and “It’s certainly not digging an
enormous hole under the whole town”.

The dwarves explain that golems are magical


creatures that they use to help with mining.
Golems follow their instructions very exactly “And
these instructions might have been a bit wrong”.
The dwarves have been trying to get their golem,
Grom, to stop, “But we can’t get close to him”.

Going Underground
The Dwarves can be convinced to lead the heroes
underground to search for Grom. Things the
heroes will have to confront include

• Shaky tunnels, can you avoid collapsing them?


• Deep pits, can you get across them?
• A swarm of bats, do you panic or push
through?

The town of Sweetgrass is beset by small
