What you learned: This project was fun and taught me lots of useful strategies. It taught me
how to attach pictures and use even more shapes than I have needed in the past. It also
required me to do some research and use creativity for the best design possible. I would use this
information for a classroom project.
ISTE National Educational Technology Standards for STUDENTS (NETS)•S Addressed: I would
say it addresses standard 3: Students critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to
construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for
themselves and others. Also, 4: Students use a variety of technologies within a design process to
identify and solve problems by creating new, useful or imaginative solutions.
Application of Skills Learned for the Future: This project would be nice to use for a getting to
know you project. Maybe make it about their favorite things. It also would be a good way to
test their creativity right off the bat and see what they have to offer. I learned how to better use
drawing tools and I can use those skills when making PowerPoints and presentations.
