Engineering: Defined
Engineering is the use of scientific principles to design and build
machines, structures, and other items, including bridges, tunnels,
roads, vehicles, and buildings. The discipline of engineering
encompasses a broad range of more specialized fields of
engineering, each with a more specific emphasis on particular
areas of applied mathematics, applied science, and types of
application.
Engineering: Defined
Engineering is the application of science and math to solve
problems. Engineers figure out how things work and find practical
uses for scientific discoveries. Scientists and inventors often get
the credit for innovations that advance the human condition, but it
is engineers who are instrumental in making those innovations
available to the world.
Management: Defined
Management is defined as the “creative problem solving process
of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling an organization’s
resources to achieve its mission and objectives”.
Engineering Management: Defined
Engineering Management refers to the activity combining
“technical knowledge with the ability to organize and coordinate
worker power, materials, machinery, and money”.
The Process of Management
Management is a process consisting of planning, organizing,
directing (or leading) and controlling.

Engineer Manager’s job?
1. bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable school; in
some cases, a master’s degree in engineering or business
management is required
