"Provisioning" Arris C4 CAM Cards

1. Slot your card

a. Slots 0-6 on front of chassis hold 24UCAM.
b. Slots 7-15 on front of chassis hold Downstream cards.
i. XD cards in need of test should be seated at back end of slots 7-15.
c. A blank card is utilized in slot 16.
d. Slots 17-18 are reserved for RCM cards.
e. Slots 19-20 are reserved for SCM cards.

2. Entering EXEC mode

a. Enter any text into Login and Password within Zterm.
i. No login or password are set for SCMs currently in LV-Lab.
b. Type "enable" to access EXEC mode.
i. Command line will shift from "C4>" to "C4#)

3. Configuring the Card

a. From EXEC mode type "configure slot (*) type (?)"
i. The value for (*) will be the number of the slot.
ii. The value for (?) will be the type of card.
A. Card types will be as follows: 24UCAM

b. After the slot has been configured or the type of card, type "configure
slot (*) no shutdown"
i. This will deliver power to the module.
ii. The OOS light on the front of the card should start to flash and in
time turn off.
