1: From where did you move? Where do you live now?

Charlotte, North Carolina to Kansas City, Missouri to Nashville, Tennessee

2: Describe differences between the two places.

Kansas City is flat and the people were less friendly, the city was built on a grid so It was easier to find
places. It was much colder and snowed a lot compared to Nashville. I experienced my first hailstorm. I
totaled my car.

3: What was the main reason for your move?

Your dad wanted to attend seminary.

4: What were the largest costs of your move?

Gas.

5: What was the most challenging part of the move?

Leaving family, it was a long drive, 2 days.

6: Was moving to your new area worth the costs and challenges? Explain why.

We learned a lot, it was my first full time job, so yeah, it was worth it, we made some pretty good
friends as well. It didn’t cost us much though.

7: What advice would you give someone making a similar move for similar reasons?

It might be hard but look for people you can depend on and get involved with a group of people. Don’t
be afraid to try new experiences and have fun with it.

Better education I suppose is the main category. The thing that would motivate me is the fact that I live
in Tennessee and not literally anywhere else. My interviewer has only been inside the usa and only
moved state to state. I would get enough money for it and also just bring everything I own.
