"2 Moons - Chapter 4"

"Yo. Are you coming?"

"Nah... I was drunk on the other days. I don't want it again today."
"Drinking has no effect on your skin condition."
"It does. No. Still not going. If I'm not taking care of myself, you'll never have a friend who's
the Moon from School of Science. You know that, right?"
"Cut the crap. You just wanna look good because you need attention from P'Pha. I know."
"Shut up."
"ha ha ha... Ok later, dude"

After hanging up, WaYo tries to relax and puts the facial mask on. He's too exhausted from
so many activities in the past days as a Freshman and the Moon from School of Science.
After a little while, he's trying to relax and shut his eyes peacefully in his room. He hears
someone knocking on the door and this time it's his door. Not P'Pring's door.

He looks through the peephole and is shocked for a moment, because it's Pha who's
knocking. Damn! No time to wash this facial mask off now, but he doesn't want Pha to see
him with the mask. He's so confused and no idea what to do.

"Pink Milk Shorty... Are you there?"

WaYo things "What an ass. He gave me another nickname. He's already calling me Shorty,
Bull, and now Pink Milk Shorty."

"Hey!!! Are you there?" (Knocking again)

WaYo decides to open the door and see Pha's walking away. But he turns back and "Fuck!!!"
He's in shocked.
P'Beam "What the fuck!!??"
P'Kit "Ha Ha Ha Ha"

It's the wrong decision... WaYo thinks. So embarrassing.

WaYo wai everyone except P'Pha.

P'Pha who's still in shock a little bit asks "What on earth are you doing with your face?"
WaYo "None of your business."
P'Kit "Give him a break. He's in the competition. It is pretty normal that he has to take care
of himself" (WaYo's so impressed with this super cool and kind guy. He think that if he's not
being in love with P'Pha, he would definitely fall for P'Kit right here and right now.)
P'Pha "For him, nothing helps... Well.... Anyhow... Can you return these sheets to Pring
tonight? We are going to study together for a quiz, so we cannot wait until she's back."

P'Pha has been disappeared in the past couple days and this is probably why. Well.. Med
School is tough and always starts their academic calendar earlier than other majors.

WaYo "When is she coming back?"

P'Pha "Could be a while. I don't know."
WaYo "I'm not doing this for free." He's starting to bargain.
P'Pha "You..." (While P'Kit's just laughing on the background and P'Beam's trying to ignore
and starting read his sheets)
P'Pha "Want the money to buy the Pink Milk?"
WaYo (instantly think Not the Pink Milk... You silly... I will buy your heart) says nothing.
P'Pha "Take this then" (He takes a bag of "M&M" from his pants pocket)

P'Kit asks "Yo... Let's go to the library..."

WaYo "But the school hasn't started yet."
P'Kit "It's ok. You can take some comics to read in the library."
P'Pha "But who's gonna give the sheets to Pring? You. Stay here... Already took my snack,
then do not forget to return it to Pring."
WaYo "I know that." and before them leave he says "... Hey You ..."
P'Pha stops, turns, and asks "What now? Still want the Pink Milk?"
WaYo "I just wanna say that... ur... um..."
P'Pha waits to hear what's he gonna say.
WaYo "... Fight!"
P'Pha "I'm a genius. Never fail." before leaving with his friends.

It's 10PM and WaYo's still waiting for Pring to come back. He's already been ready to go to
bed. M&M is still there. Right next to P'Pha picture in the frame. P'Pha, with a student hair
style and with the darker skin tone but cute, was a famous basketball player. WaYo
remembers there were some girls from other schools coming to see him play. Back in high
school, it was a very fantastic time for WaYo, because he was able look at P'Pha whenever
he wanted and P'Pha didn't know who he was. Not even talked to each other. Right next to
that frame, it is a blue velvet box with a black bracelet inside. WaYo had it since High
School. It was a graduation gift for Pha. Actually he already left this box on his desk at
school, but he took it back right after hearing the conversation between P'Pha and P'Beam.
P'Pha "Fuck you... I like girls"
P'Beam "Really? No way that you'll say yes for a guy?"
P'Pha "No way."
P'Beam "Alright. We'll see. ha ha ha"
And that's the first time WaYo decided to change himself and started taking care of himself
for him.

It's two quarters past 11PM and WaYo hears some conversation outside his room.
"Thanks Pha for taking me home."
"Not a problem. It's very late. Not safe for a girl to come home alone."
WaYo decides to open the door right the way and see P'Pring for the first time. Yes, she's
very pretty. Now he feels like he's only a dog... An ugly one.
"There he is." P'Pha takes the sheet from WaYo's hand and tells Pring "I left the sheet with
the shorty. I asked him to return it to you."
Pring "Oh... Thank you na kha" She says and smiles to me.
Pha "Ok... Get some sleep. Do not study anymore for tonight. You'll get the full score
tomorrow and that's too mean for us. Pha and friends"
(First time WaYo's heard P'Pha calling himself as "Pha" to anyone)
A couple more of Good bye conversation before P'Pha leaves, he teases P'Pring by touching
her head with his beautiful and perfect big hand before P'Pring going into her room.

It hurts. WaYo feels like a very ugly abandon dog.

"What with that face? What's the matter?" P'Pha asks but WaYo doesn't have any answer.
P'Pha "I'm sorry. Don't be mad at me... I didn't want to make you staying up and waiting
this late... Why are you still being mad at me?"
WaYo screaming inside his head (No You idiot! I'm not mad at you, but I don't like the way
you talk to Pring and the way you call yourself "Pha" in front of her. Fuck!!!)
"Shorty"
"Stop calling me that. I have a name."
"I don't want to call your name."
"Why?"
"I'm not telling you."
(Asshole)
"You fucking asshole"
"What did you say?"
"Asshole"
P'Pha starts to get mad "Shorty. Say that again."
"..."
"I'm not always this nice. Remember that."

This is the first time for WaYo to see Pha being this fierce. He spoke with normal voice, but
his face shows clearly that he's mad.

Yes... That's all for an ugly dog... That's all you can get.

"I brought that Pink Milk for you." Pha points to a cup of Pink Milk at WaYo's door. "Drink it."
He says and leaves.
WaYo cannot really be mad at him for too long. Every time when he's mad, somehow Pha
always make him to forgive.

Next morning, during a breakfast with his good friend... Mr.Ming, WaYo's still thinking about
what's going on last night. He wanted to talk to P'Kit, but he's too scared to open this secret
to anyone, but... Ming.
"What's wrong?" (He always know that I'm in trouble)
"Um..."
"What!?!?!"
"Is Pha single?"
"Not sure but he's not fresh. Ha Ha Ha... You know? Lots of girl lining up for him. Rumer has
it. Every pretty stars on campus wants to date him. And they said he has a date. It's a girl
from the same Med School."
WaYo (Yes... I know who he is... I want to die now. My dream has been pushed far far away
from coming true now.)
"Are you all right?"
"I'll skip the competition meeting today."
"What? Why? How? What am I gonna tell P'Ging?"
"Tell P'Ging that WaYo is dead."

(You fucking handsome shiting asshole... Gosh! It hurts... Yes... I'm not a girl. Cannot
having a baby with you. No boobs. No sexy body for you... I'm just an ugly dog...) "Fuck
you... You handsome piece of shit" WaYo swears and throws lots of rock into the water. It's
a quiet pool on the back of campus. It's too early in the morning. Nobody's there.

"Fuck!!!" WaYo's about to throw another rock, but somebody grabs his hand. It's P'Forth -
Jatuphoom (The Moon from Engineering School. The handsome smoker)
"Are you killing those fishes? Are you trying to make me
quit smoking? Why are you always around when I want
to smoke?”

"How long have you been here?"

"I was right over there" Forth points to his motorcycle.

"I saw you throwing those rocks into the pool."

P'Forth is super handsome with only a simple and plain

white t-shirt and those shorts.

(Why am I surround with handsome guys? And I'm the

only abandon ugly dog?)

"Skipping the meeting? Bad moon, ain't you?"

"I'm..."

"Don't be like this. You know? You are the

representative of your school. There are only bad things
following up from your irresponsibility."

"I feel uncomfortable."

"Uncomfortable? About what? Are there pretty stars fighting for you?"

"No way..."

"We have a girl fight last year. It's a mess. They were punished and kicked out from the
competition from fighting over a Med Student named Pha"

(WaYo sneers quietly)

"He's way too handsome and perfect. Tall, genius, and super rich. I have no wonder why
they fought. Only he gave a look into the eyes then those girls willing to line up for him for
miles."

"Seriously? Fighting over P'Pha?"

"Yes and he's so upset. He even decided to quit, but everyone begged him to come back
and there... He's the campus moon. Well... See? He has a tougher time than you."

"..."

"Going back to the meeting? I'll take you there."

WaYo decides to throw his bad feeling into the pool too. "Yes, I think I'm going back now.
Thank you P'Forth. That really helps."

"Buy me a dinner then."

"Science?"
"Here."
"How about your moon? Where is he?"
"..."
"I'm here krub. So sorry for being late." WaYo runs into the meeting and starts to apologize.
"Ok you both are next for the photo shooting. After School of Education"
P'Forth walks with him into that meeting. WaYo has to change into a tradition Thai dress.
"Focus, ok? I'll see you tonight. Give me your phone number."
After exchanging the phone number and before he leaves, "Thank you P'Forth. I'll see you
tonight"
"Stop crying ok?"
"I didn't cry."
"Almost I know"
"Yes almost... You're a jerk, P'Forth"
"ha ha ha"

"Ai Forth... Kit want to see you." P'Pha's walking toward us right after that.
"Ok" P'Forth gives me a wave before walking away.
"You are late"
"Nope"
P'Pha is in a perfect and neat uniform today... Right... He has a class and a quiz. "Quiz?"
"Yes in the afternoon"
"Ok"
"Just Ok?"
"Yes. Just Ok"
"You just cheered me up yesterday... 'Fight' " P'Pha is kind of murmuring (almost talking to
himself)
"what did you say?"
"Never mind... You are you!" Pha says before walking away.

Leaves WaYo standing and being so confused. What is it now? He doesn't understand. What
did he do?
Ming approaches and says "Damn!!! Such a good drama."
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
"P'Pha is so jealous ha ha ha"
"Fuck you. No way" WaYo says that but he's getting blushed.
"Just saying whatever I see"
"..."
"And if I'm right. This is gonna be a big fight ... An epic between two big schools. Med and
Engineering."
"You have to stop watching those soap drama."
"You'll see." Ming points to that cup of almost melted Iced Pink Milk. "You must be in his
eyes now..."
"He bought those drinks for everyone again... As usual."
"No... Just you."
"..."
"... yes. Only you."
"..."
"He brought this right after you left a big while ago. He said '...for your friend' "
WaYo (Shit... You don't have to do anything... I've already been crazy about you... You are
driving me crazy.) "Ming, I'll be right back."
"Wait..."
P'Pha was walking so fast. He's already at his new Audy in the parking lot. "Yes?"
"I'm..."
"Not mad at me now. Right?"
(Since when I was mad at you? Silly)
"It's not my attention to make you wait for Pring that late. I didn't mean to see her last
night."
"..."
"Ok... You can be mad at me. I don't care anymore."
(What on earth making him think that I'm mad at him because of the last night)
"Good luck at your quiz today."
That board shoulder turns back to WaYo. "We'll get the score right after the quiz. What if I
get the top score?"
"..."
"What is the reward?"
"M&M"
"Silly shorty... No... Buy me some Sushi tonight."
Pha drives away right after saying that and leave WaYo standing and smiling quietly.
Holy Moly... It's the First date with P'Pha!?!?!

(Beeping sound on the phone)

"See you tonight at the Hot Pot place next to the campus. If you don't have money, I'll buy you a dinner.

-Jatuphoom."
