SECOND LEARNING TASK IN COR 007

TITLE: ​BASIC ROCK COLLECTION


OBJECTIVE:
1. Classifying and identifying the different sample of rocks that can be seen around your
place
2. To  further  explore  the  three  categories  of  rocks:  metamorphic,  igneous,  and 
sedimentary.

INSTRUCTION
1. Your task is to look for unusual rocks that can be seen in your backyard or in any nearby places
around you.
2. Collect at least 6 different types of rocks and identify its type base on its appearance, texture,
color, etc.
3. Next is you have to compile your collected rocks in a box or in any materials of your choice.
4. Label each rock with its name and identification.
5. You doesn’t necessarily need to collect each rock based on its classification (igneous,
sedimentary and metamorphic) as long as it is different from each other.
6. Make it as presentable as possible.
7. Take a picture while you are collecting the rocks and while you are doing your project. Upload it
alongside with the final picture of your finished project.
