MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

1.) FELLOW MEMBER - FIEK

i. Duly filled Fellow application FORM signed by two paid up fellow proposers and two paid up
fellow seconder.
ii. ID Copy – certified by commissioners of Oaths.
iii. Two current colored passport photos.
iv. Copy of EBK Professional Certificate certified by commissioners of Oaths.
v. Copy of EBK latest practicing license certified by commissioners of Oaths.
vi. Corporate membership for at least 7 years.
vii. Senior Engineering Position for at least 5 years.
viii. Demonstration of active involvement in IEK activities.
ix. Demonstration of Corporate Social responsibilities activities (engineering in nature.)
x. Short bio data describing (iii) to (vii) above.
xi. Payment of Application Fee of ksh. 3,600 – Paybill No. 976295, Acc IEK Reg No.

2.) CORPORATE MEMBER - MIEK

i. Duly filled Corporate member application FORM signed by two paid up corporate proposers and
two paid up corporate seconders
ii. ID Copy – certified by commissioners of Oaths.
iii. Two current colored passport photos.
iv. Copy of IEK graduate letter or Certificate.
v. Copy of EBK professional interview letter OR Corporate certificate and latest practicing license
certified by commissioners of Oaths.
vi. Graduate Member relevant experience for at least 3 years
vii. Payment of Application Fee of ksh. 3,600 – Paybill No. 976295, Acc IEK Reg No.

3.) ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST - TLMIEK

i. Duly filled Engineering Technologist member application FORM signed by two paid up
corporate Proposers and two paid up corporate Seconders
ii. ID Copy – certified by commissioners of Oaths.
iii. Two current colored passport photos.
iv. Copy of IEK graduate engineering Technologist letter OR Certificate.
v. Graduate Engineering Technologist relevant experience for at least 3 years
vi. Payment of Application Fee of ksh. 2,000 – Paybill No. 976295, Acc IEK Reg No.

4.) ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN - TMIEK

i. Duly filled Engineering Technician application FORM signed by two paid up Engineering
Technologist Proposers and two paid up Engineering Technologist Seconders
ii. ID Copy – certified by commissioners of Oaths.
iii. Two current colored passport photos.
iv. Copy of IEK graduate engineering technician letter OR Certificate.
v. Graduate Engineering Technician relevant experience for at least 2 years
