‘Going to work abroad an exciting opportunity or a scary one.’

Nowadays, many people are forced to leave their own country to work abroad in order to look for a better
life quality. But making this decision could have different consequences.

Working abroad has a lot of advantages. Learning a foreign language and culture is one of the main
advantages. Going abroad offers you the chance of improving both personal and working skills and this ,
which will turn you into a more confident person. Another advantage is that you meet new people,
different customs and do sightseeing.

On the other hand, there are some disadvantages. When you work abroad, your family and friends are far
from you/are located far away, so you should be stay in contact with them in another way. In addition,
depending on the country where you live, the weather can be a disadvantage too. Moreover, you will have
to assume the possibility of having made the wrong decision if the new country does not meet your
expectations.

In conclusion, working abroad has advantages and disadvantages. It can be a great experience for some
people, but they should give up on their environment. I believe that working abroad has more advantages
than disadvantages. It develops your abilities and it makes (or helps?) you get a promotion in your
professional life.
