Activity

A. With Teacher Macrina’s philosophy of education as an example, formulate your own philosophy of
education. (When you apply for a teaching job at the Department of Education, you will be asked to
write your own philosophy of education).

I believe that education should indeed be enjoyable and that more than those whose participation is
also active, students who are active participants learn. An essential contract is involved in teaching and
learning. In order to participate, students must agree to take responsibility for their learning, their
learning is not strictly measured as the rate of lecture delivery, so a mix and match of speed and
teaching techniques designed to address the demands of different of learning abilities need not weaken
any student's improvement. I welcome a group of students who are actively engaged in thinking and
challenging the material presented to them, whether presented by me or by another student.

I BELIEVE……

the way they should be handled

ESSAY. Answer the following questions.

1. Reflect on your newly formulated philosophy of education. How can you be true to your philosophy of
education?

I can be true that my education in my philosophy should be special to children and must provide a
stimulating educational atmosphere in which they can develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and
socially. It is my dream to build this kind of environment where learners can meet.

1. What are the consequences of the absence of a teacher’s lack of a clear philosophy of education?

The result of the lack of a consistent educational philosophy by a teacher is that the students do not
have enough information to learn from the teacher himself. It would also be very unfair for learners
because they will have a Restricted and narrow form of education.

A. Research on at least one formulated philosophy of education then summarize the teacher’s concept
of the learner and how the teacher should relate to the learner, important subject matter to be taught,
how that subject matter should be taught.

A teacher should be able to manage a sequence of teaching based on expectations, execute the plan
effectively, and then assess student learning. A instructor should be able to create an enjoyable
atmosphere for learning that makes it hard for students not to learn. A teacher should know how to
engage all students at their own level of learning, and a teacher should be able to motivate students to
write.
