Teletilt® Remote Electrical Downtilt System
Teletilt® ATM200-002 Actuator

The AISG compliant ATM200-002 engages the antenna downtilt rod for remote electrical tilt as it
receives tilt commands from the Andrew Teletilt® ATC200 controller. The controller also configures
the actuator to store sector position, height, angular tilt, etc.
The actuator’s absolute position sensor eliminates calibration, enhances precision and prevents
dropped calls caused by calibration sweeps.
The single piece housing eliminates mechanical joints (screws, welds, etc.) that could become loose
over time with normal antenna vibration.
The actuator has been extensively tested and is certified to contain EMI/EMC emissions, including
operation near 50/60 Hz power lines.
Male and female AISG connectors facilitate daisy chaining actuators.
This unit comes in a weather resistant gasket-sealed container that has a drain hole to permit
drainage of condensed moisture. It weighs less than 0.3 kg and can operate over a –40 degrees C
to +70 degrees C temperature range.
The ATM200-002 actuator can be field fitted onto Andrew Teletilt remote electrical downtilt (RET)
compatible antennas that are already in service or factory fitted before delivery to the field.
With an excess of 150,000 actuators in service, Andrew’s ATM200-002 is a proven, reliable RET solution.

 ATM200-002

The fully AISG compliant ATM200-002 connects to the electrical downtilt adjustment rod of a base station antenna
to allow remote control downtilt.

Teletilt® Remote Electrical Downtilt System
Teletilt® ATCB-B01-xxx Series Control Cable

The ATCB-B01 series control cabling is used to feed data and power from the controller to the
ATC200 RET (remote electrical downtilt) system components. These cables are available in various
lengths ranging from 0.50 m to 60 m. Each cable is terminated with male and female connectors,
which allows them to be linked together to meet a required length.
Andrew recommends grounding the RET control cable at the top of the tower, using the ATJB200
series junction box. An ATLP200-001 lightning protection unit should be used at the bottom of the
tower to ground the RET control cable. In addition, Andrew recommends using an ATGK-001 ground-
ing kit for runs over 60 m and at 60 m intervals. This grounding kit clamps onto the connectors,
where 2 cables are joined together. As an example, the ATGK-001 would be used where a 40 m and
a 30 m RET cable are joined to make a 70 m run.
The ATCB-B01 series control cabling is compliant to AISG and RoHS standards.

 ATCB-B01-xxx Series

Available in lengths ranging from 0.5 m–60 m, with flame retardant PUR jacket.

Teletilt® Remote Electrical Downtilt System
Teletilt® ATGK-001 Grounding Kit

The Andrew AISG control cables for remote electrical tilt are rated for 16kA surge capacity, 10/350
μs profile. As part of a system, Teletilt® cabling requires grounding and line protection at the top and
ATGK-001 bottom of the tower through the use of an ATLP200-001 lightning protection unit or ATJB200-A01
series junction box. Andrew Corporation also recommends the use of the ATGK-001 grounding kit for
every 60 m of AISG RET control cable run.
The ATGK-001 grounding kit is designed to capture and ground the cables at the junction where
two cables are daisy-chained. This means that for a 120 m run, you will use two 60 m cables
(ATCB-B01-060) with the ATGK-001 grounding kit in the middle. The kit includes a clamp module,
a ground cable, and hardware for connection to the main ground bus.

can be oriented at 180°, 120°, or at customized azimuth settings inside a single, aesthetically
pleasing enclosure.

Custom Tailored for Your Application

Mix and match beamwidths, electrical downtilts, and polarization options to meet your exact needs.

Faster Zoning Approval

Having no visible cables or individual antennas makes zoning approval simple. The AcCELLerator
series antenna systems can be mounted on unobtrusive monopoles or existing structures such as
rooftops, utility poles and billboards.

Lower Infrastructure Cost

Fewer antennas means reduced windloads, faster site installations and decreased costs in leases.
Additionally, lighter-duty towers may be installed and antenna platforms are no longer necessary.
AcCELLerator antenna systems can also be roof-mounted with no additional screening required.

Fully Tested and Ready for Installation

The AcCELLerator antenna system is a fully tested suite of antennas in one package. Just hook up
the RF cables, attach the antenna system to the mounting structure, and the site is online.

Jumper Cables Included

Each AcCELLerator antenna system comes ready to install with factory attached and weatherproofed,
high quality, .5 inch diameter flexible jumper cables.

Easy Access to Individual Antennas

Most Andrew AcCELLerator antenna systems allow for easy access to the antennas for customer
adjustments or antenna replacement. See individual data sheet for customer interface to the antenna.

Designed for Co-Location

Most Andrew AcCELLerator antenna systems can be stacked two high for added capacity or
co-location.
