Notice Inviting Tenders

Sealed Tenders based on item rates/percentage above or below on approved estimated (DNIT)
amount are hereby invited for the works mentioned below from the Contractors / firms enlisted
/ renewed with MC for the year 2020-21 in the field of Municipal works.

Tender documents are available, which can be obtained from the date of publication of invitation
to bids in the newspapers as well as PPRA website from any of the below mentioned offices,
upon written request accompanied with attested copies of enlistment / up to date renewal letter,
PEC license. Identity Card of Contractor / Managing Partner / Director of the firm along with
registered power of attorney and on payment of prescribed tender fee (2000 PKR) in shape of
original Bank Challan 32-A deposited in State Bank of Pakistan Gujranwala under Head
of Account C-02716 others

Revenue Receipt (PPC-WKRI-OI) in favor of Executive Engineer, Municipal Coroporation,

Gujranwala Division.

Tendered rates and amounts should be filled in figures as well as in words and tenders should be
signed as per general directions given in the tender document No rebate on tendered rates will
be acceptable.
Tender documents will be issued from the date of publication up to 05-12-2020 and will be
received on 21-12-2020 up to 2.00 pm and same will be opened at 2.30 om in the office of the
Chief Engineer (North) MC Lahore and Commissioner, Gujranwala Division Gujranwala
simultaneously on fixed date and time by the respective Tenders Opening Committee at the
above venues in the presence of intending contractors or their representatives.
Conditional tenders and tender not accompanied with earnest money @ 3% of the estimated cost
in shape of CDR / Bank Draft / Cashier's Cheque of any scheduled Bank from the account of the

respective Contractor / Firm in favor of Executive Engineer, MC Lahore, and attested copies of
registered partnership deed and power of attorney in case of firms will not be entertained.

Mr Hassan Qureshi
Executive Vice-President, Energy
Mr. Hassan is responsible for leading the energy team at Innovative Engineering Corporation.
Since joining this company in 2003, Mr. Hassan has been directly involved in re-structuring and
continued evolution of the energy engineering in Pakistan. Formerly a Board Member of the
Society for Mechanical Engineers, he current sits on the Board of City Energy and the
Environmental Working Committee. Mr. Hassan holds an Honours degree in Applied Science –
Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan.

Project Background
The services of our company are being considered for the design and reconstruction of Solid Waste
Treatment Plant, owns and maintains 10,000 sq ft of buildings, which includes renewable power
source. The requirements include the design and implementation of an environmentally sustainable
energy system.

Description of Project
Based on the evaluations and recommendations the design and replacement will include
approximately: heavy pipes, labor, 11kV electricity.

Work Schedule

The work effort described herein will be completed in 15 months in accordance with the proposed
schedule provided. The schedule for accomplishment of the project reflects the elapsed time in
days for completion of the preliminary engineering design, construction documents phase (final
design), bidding phase, and construction phase of the project.
