Outline for the Feast of Our Lady of Consolation

Introduction:
Today is a very important day for us Augustinians. We celebrate the Feast of our mother, Our
Lady of Consolation. Mary the mother of Jesus, is very close to our hearts wherein it is the
reason why our country is called as “Pueblo amante de Maria” meaning People in love with
Mary. As her children, we always go to her whenever we experience difficulties and when we
ask for her intercession to help us in our needs. Let us also imitate our mother, as we say our
own “Fiat” in following and serving the Lord.
As an Augustinian, let us also emulate the humility in receiving the consolation coming from
our Blessed Mother especially amidst this pandemic that we are facing today.
