The Change the World Forum brings
together over 3000 students from all
over the world every year to create the
largest international youth forum on
the planet which takes place in New
York.

MODEL UN?
A Model United Nations (MUN) is a
simulation of the functioning of the
main organs of the United Nations.
The participation of the students
gravitates around the possibility to
represent, within a simulated session
of the General Assembly, Security
Council, ECOSOC etc, one of the
Countries assigned.

Students debate on the global agenda

and work hard on finding common
solution that will eventually become
UN Resolutions.

Like every year, the Change the world Model UN NEW YORK is going to welcome

government as well as reliable sport champion that debate with the students on
the most current international geopolitical topics.

CAN APPLY
The CWMUN NY program is opened
to University and High School
students, as well as young
professionals, aged between 14 and
26 years old [according to their age,
participants will be divided in
different teams and working with
peers only]. Language certifications
are not required to apply, but please
bear in mind that every Model UN
related activity will be held in English
– therefore a good command of this
language is essential, both spoken
and written.

with € 1,000 scholarship and free

SCHOLARSHIPS
In order to apply to the CWMUN NYC
you first have to fill the registration
form and decide when to schedule
your Skype interview (date and time)
with our admission board.
Students who successfully pass the
interview will qualify for admission.
The Skype interview is free of charge.
The CWMUN NYC participation fee
only has to be paid upon admission.
 CHANGE THE WORLD
VIRTUAL MODEL MUN
The Change the World MUN (CWMUN) Virtual Edition is the first UN simulation in the
world that takes place online and reserved to school and university level students. The
training activity is faithfully reproduced within a stimulating virtual ecosystem that let
participants fully identify with the simulation works, interact with other students, and
work in a team using their computer or smartphone

TEAM CHALLENGES
Team Challenges definitely represent a super new thing to the CWMUN Virtual Edition.
All participants in the CWMUN Virtual Edition, besides their country/committee
assignment, will be assigned to a team of 30 students with whom to participate in fun
online challenges. All the teams will be competing and their goal is to win by collecting
as many points as possible to climb the ranking. The winning team will get fantastic
benefits and will enter straight away to the "CWMUN Virtual Edition Best Of", the
simulation between the strongest delegates ever.

Workplace® is a simple and familiar platform - as it is based on

Facebook - but at the same time very powerful. It is already used by
many organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO),
and is an ideal communication tool for teams working remotely. It
works as a social network but includes advanced functions such as
the possibility of working simultaneously with writing documents,
sharing content with one & colleagues and carrying out video
meetings at any time. Pre-settings of Workplace® will be available to
all participants of the CWMUN Virtual Edition. Your training material
will also include easy tutorials to quickly learn to use this powerful
tool.

Zoom® is the video conference software where simulation sessions

are held. It guarantees exceptional clarity and quality and ensures
that everyone can participate equally whether with your computers
or smartphones. It will be your opportunity to impress other students
with your skills as a speaker, follow the debate within your
Committee, carry out negotiations in real time and vote for the
Resolutions, just like in a standard Model UN

WECARE - STUDENT’S UNILATERAL WITHDRAWAL OPTION

Our policy provides a refund in favor of the student of 100% of the amount paid in
case of withdrawal from the program up to 7 days before departure for NY and, if
the withdrawal is due to reasons related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the same can be
communicated up to the day before departure

WECARE – FINANCIAL INCENTIVES

There is no reason to make huge sacrifices to be part of CWMUN. You can pay the
participation fees a little at a time, in several installments without interest.
