All works, equipment, materials and systems shall be designed, manufactured and/or constructed and
tested in accordance with the latest issue of the international codes and standards:

Civil Engineering Application ASCE, AISC, ASTM, ACI, DIN, JIS, AWS,
AASHTO, TIS, EIT, IBC

Mechanical Engineering Application ASME, ASTM, AWWA, API, NFPA, ANSI, AMCA,
NBFU, IGCI, HI, ABMA, DIN, PFI, JIS, EN, ISO,
HEI, TIS, EIT, UL, FM

Electrical Engineering Application IEC, ANSI, NEC, NEMA, ASTM, DIN, VDE, JIS,
IPCEA, EIT, EN, AFBMA, API, BS, EEI, ICEA,
IEEE, IES, NACE, NESC, NFPA, OSHA, UL, TIS

Control and Instrumentation IEC, ISA, IEEE, SAMA, DIN, VDE, NEMA, API,

The Codes and Standards given above shall be followed unless otherwise agreed. Such approval will
be given only if the Contractor can satisfactorily demonstrate that the equipment complies with other
generally accepted International Standards and is of equivalent quality to the appropriate Standards at
the time of contract award. Installation shall be in accordance with the appropriate Standards and the
manufacturers' recommendations.

The International System of Units (SI) shall be used in connection with the design. All materials,
fittings, components, items of the plant and equipment supplied for incorporation in the Work shall be
standardized accordingly.

SI units shall also be used in all correspondence, documentation calculations, drawings, measurements,
etc.

3.6 NUMBERING SYSTEM AND IDENTIFICATION

The KKS code shall be applied for all equipment numbering system for this project.

3.7 SPARE PARTS AND SPECIAL TOOLS

The Contractor shall propose necessary Spare Parts and Special Tools List and Price for plant operation.

Recommended spare parts and Mandatory spare parts list and price shall be submitted with the bidding
proposal. The price shall be valid until PAC.
