3 Aftercare strategy

Definitions of aftercare strategy is to do maintenance after the behavioral


changes that have been achieved. Aftercare strategy is necessary to guarantee
the performance of adaptation work (Douglas, 2006). After refurbishment works,
particular maintenance and preventive plan is vital to sustain the utility of building
(Westenhoefer, 2001). Aftercare strategic is necessary to make sure the
renovation done by Syarikat JIMAT Co. can achieve the purpose of constructing
a building more energy efficient and sustainable. Besides that, it can add the
value of the building and protect the physical condition of the building.

A well-function of server room require a proper maintenance to allow


computer equipment can operate safely while networking activities becomes
more easier and effective. To avoid the equipment corrosion and damage,
cooling services is crucial to server room. Heat energy released by computer
system will causes the cooling system malfunction as they always expose to heat
for a long time. Thus, server room should have cooling repair works frequently to
ensure the environment of server room always at the certain temperature levels
and humidity.

The proper installation of fiber-optic cable is no require periodic


maintenance as it will harm fiber optic network. Preventative maintenance is
more suitable for fiber optic system (Doyle & Fernando, 1996). There are some
prevention can let fiber optic cable function well without additional cost on repair
and maintenance. For every fiber optic interface, it is better to have dust caps

spectrum condition, it is hard to control the quantity of users and kinds of protocol
used. This condition makes it tough to provide the good qualities services in long
term (Zahariadis, Voulkidis, Karkazis, & Trakadas, 2017). Syarikat JIMAT Co.
can take some precautions such as power generators to allow
telecommunication services will not be disrupted when power failures occurs.

Aftercare strategic for building envelope can enable the building have a
good condition to resist the external threat. Evaluate the components of building
such as roof, wall, floor, window and door which may involve the problem of
cracking, deterioration and corrosion annually. Roof should be inspected at least
twice in one year to avoid leaking, opening and waterproofing damage.
Moreover, wall system must in a good condition to resist the moisture penetrate
into the building and no crack at any parts of the wall. For all the floor framing
members, make sure floor framing cavity extends from the top to bottom and
insulation constructed well. Check the jambs of window and door are sealing
properly and the glazing are no breaking. Proper aftercare is the key to create a
building more energy efficient.

If the expected faults have been identified, the available robots will replaced them
before the problem becomes serious. Moreover, topology maintenance is a
familiar strategy for saving energy and extending the service life of wireless
sensor networks. Topology maintenance is very reasonable to implement as in
dense networks that can achieve important performance improvements.

Solar power system basically need little maintenance to allow the Syarikat
JIMAT Co. takes advantages of it in long term. Every 4 to 6 years, solar powel
system is advised to examine by installer. (Monkman et al., 2015) Keep in mind
ensure the inverters of solar panel system always flashing green lights because if
they are no flashing green light means there are no compensate for your
electricity use. Solar panel is recommended to clean once every six months
because the dirt on the top will affect it absorb the sunlight efficiently.
Professional solar panel is necessary to reduce the risk happened during
cleaning process. Syarikat JIMAT Co. advised do not use the cold water clean
the face of the solar panel when they are hot because it will damage them.

In conclusion, take action before the minor problems become major can
prevent Syarikat JIMAT Co. from wasting money on consequential damage. Take
the precaution before the problems occur can ensure the facilities of the Syarikat
JIMAT Co. function more efficiently and effectively. Inspection regular allow
Syarikat JIMAT Co. to provide telecommunication services in a safe condition
and protect their image and reputation. Additionally, aftercare strategic can avoid
unnecessary accident and ensure the safety and health of users.
