ASSESSMENT: PROKARYOTIC AND EUKARYOTIC CELL

WHAT TO DO TODAY during your time:

Instruction:
Create a REFLECTION PAPER about the presentation of prokaryotic and
eukaryotic cell

Follow the guideline as to how you write a reflection paper:

Creating flow of ideas in logical connections of the given topic, transitions to link
Ideas, using clear/concise wordings makes it easier for the instructor to rate in
this assessment:

FORMAT for the flow of ideas, but it must be explained and presented in a paragraph form.

A. It must have a COGNITIVE ASPECT

● What you have learned/understood about the topic?(brainstorming/simple and
honest recall without notes since it is not graded)
● What have you explored beyond the lesson..or an extra mile to learn new ideas?
● Were the lessons learned independently, analyzed & evaluated how to go about
with the lesson presentation one on one ,ON CAM?

B. It must have an AFFECTIVE aspect

● Describe how you feel and think when you present the lesson you have learned?
● Was there a need to read/study,recite and even practice before the presentation
schedule?
● Did you put a little value, effort and commitment to perform the task?

C. Personal perspective or opinion

● Was the experience at par with the lesson you’ve learned?
Reflection

During our first and latest meetings, I've learned numerous things about the meaning of
biology and cells (Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cells). With regards to biology, it gave us an in-
depth understanding of what biology truly means. It made us learn the definition of biology; it
helps us distinguish a living form from a non-living one. We've learned the characteristics of a
living-form (e.g., reproduction, growth, movement, metabolism, etc.). The latest lesson that
we've learned is about cells. We've learned that there are two types of cells, eukaryotic cells,
and prokaryotic cells. It made us identify its parts and explain its functions, and we've also got
the chance to draw both cells. It helped us distinguish the difference between both prokaryotic
and eukaryotic cells. I've learned that there are some parts of the eukaryotic cell that is absent
from the prokaryotic cell. I think we've beyond explored the first part of biology. It's more than
just "A branch that deals with the study of living things" line. We've learned the in-depth
meaning of biology and cells. Through this, I've learned the characteristics of an organism. I can
also able to identify and the parts and explain its functions of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells.
I've learned also additional pieces of information from the internet.

I’ve independently, analyzed & evaluated the lesson that I’ve presented on cam. To be
honest, I feel nervous speaking on cam. But I always remind myself that I can overcome this,
and I'm trying to stop my nervousness in order to present what I've learned in the lesson on-
cam. I've learned pieces of information from my classmates through their presentation as well.
Before the presentation, we need to study, practice and recite beforehand to avoid any
mistakes. I've put value, effort, and commitment into the tasks. It's our obligation as students to
comply with our assignments and put effort into bringing the best out of it.

Through these tasks were able to learn new things about biology. It is something that we
can carry on in the future. But at the same time, I'm struggling to speak on cam because of my
nervousness. It is something that I'm trying to manage. Nonetheless, I was able to learn and
explore new things about biology and cells.
