For angle correction, the angle value measured after bending is entered. The system
calculates the difference and displays as correction value. Every time a new angle correction
value is entered, the calculated correction value is added on the previous value.
Product Correction Correction values defined for the product. For angle correction, calculated correction value is
applied to all steps with the same bending angle.
Unfolded Length Unfolded length automatically calculated by the system according to DIN 6935 standard.
Bending Force Automatically calculated or manually entered bending force value.
Material Material selection.
Punch Punch definition for the current step.
Die Die definition for the current step.
NB / ri Number of bends / internal bending radius.
Retraction If the first value is Wait, the beam stops at PP and waits for retraction to be completed to
continue the bending operation. If the first value is No Wait, the beam stops at PP.
However, it continues the bending operation while retraction is still in progress.
Bending Speed D / U For downward bending, 0 value corresponds to the speed of 1mm/s and 9 value
corresponds to the speed of 10mm/s. For upward bending, it defines the speed of the beam
for rising from BDP to PP. If the value is 0, it means slow movement, if the value is 9, it
means fast movement.
Top Dead Point (TDP) The point at which the beam stops moving upward after the bending.
Speed Chg Point Speed Change Point (SCP). The point at which the beam changes its speed from HS to LS.
Thickness Material thickness.
Prod Repetition Defines the repetitions of product cycles. The first field shows the number of completed
products and the second field shows how many times the product will be repeated.
Step Repetition Defines the repetitions of current step. The first field shows the number of completed steps
and the second field shows how many times the step will be repeated. If the second field is
undefined, the step is performed once. If the second field is 0, the system skips to the next
step.
Cycle Start Selection of starting point (BDP, PP, TDP) for the next step.
Length Material bending width.
Delay Waiting time for the next step after the upward movement of the beam is completed.
Dwell Waiting time for the beam at BDP.
External Start Selection (No, Yes) for external start.

The Stopping and Leakage tests are only performed if the Acceleration Distance High
Speed (P95) is programmed. This test is used to detect any anomalies in the function of the
press.
The principle is to bring down the BEAM at high speed, then suddenly stop the down movement
when the BEAM reached to defined position, then measure the machine's reactions.
By comparing the measured reactions with the acceptable limits, it is possible to ascertain
whether the machine is fit to work with or not.
After each test, the measurement results can be seen on the machine parameter page. The first
MAX column is used for programming the values, while the Y1 and Y2 columns are used to
display the measurement results.
LEAK TEST output is used to cut the down movement.

Starting to test conditions;

– All axes are calibrated (indexed)
– BEAM at Maximum Limit (P48)
– Semi or Full Automatic mode is active
– Axes in position

Test process;
Give the command. The BEAM moves downwards with the High Speed Voltage (P56)
until it reaches the Maximum Limit (P48) – Acceleration Distance High Speed (P95) value.
When the BEAM arrived to the above value, STOPPING TEST message is displayed and
LEAK TEST output is activated. Thus, the BEAM is stopped.
In order to detection of the stopping, time and distance measurements are separately started for
Y1 and Y2. The axis is considered stopped if it does not receive more than 2 pulses in 10ms.
A delay of 0.3s to allow the BEAM to be properly stabilized. Then LEAKAGE TEST message is
displayed and the leakages are measured during the programmed time.
If the tests are completed successfully, the machine can work normally, otherwise the test is
repeated for the next command.
