Tournament Information

( PIC, GCCI, GCCII, GCCIII )

1.) Gulf Coast Classics will consist of 2 games Monday, 2 games Tuesday and a single
elimination bracket tournament starting on Wednesday.(5 games min weather
permitting)
2.) 75 Minute Time limit must finish the inning.
3.) Pleasure Island Showdown will consist of 2 games Friday night, 1 game Saturday
morning and a single elimination bracket on Saturday. (4 Game Min weather permitting)
4.) Each team will supply a Wilson A9011BSST NFHS Fastpitch Softball per game.
5.) International Tie- Breaker will be used in the event of a tie game at the conclusion of
regulation play or time expiration.
a.) No game may end in a tie
6.) Run Rules
a.) 15 after 3
b.) 10 after 5
7.) A coin flip will determine Home and Away throughout the tournament.
8.) Seeding for bracket play will be determined as follows
a.) Win/ Loss Record
b.) Runs Allowed
c.) Runs scored
d.) Head to Head (if two teams are involved)
e.) Coin toss
9.) There will be ​no​ protest. Decisions made by officials will be final.

b.) Gulf Coast Classic I - March 15th -17th
c.) Gulf Coast Classic II - March 22nd -2th4
d.) Gulf Coast Classic III - March 29th -31st
Admission

Tickets will be purchased through the gofan app. Please let fans know to wait until the day of the
games to purchase tickets. Tickets will not be refunded if something comes up and you are
unable to compete. The only exception is if the whole tournament were to be cancelled.

3.) Wristbands will be given out at the gate. Once tickets have been verified.
4.) Coaches will check in at the front gate to receive their coaches wristbands and to sign in.
a.) NO COACHES meeting prior to the tournament this year.
b.) 1 team cooler
c.) No Cages​ are available at the sportsplex. The city took them down during covid to reduce
large numbers gathering in one place.
