Collective Filipinos Around the World

11% of the Filipino populations are OFW. Meaning they are not even inside the Philippine
territory, but how do they still stand out as “Filipino”? We as a Filipino were collectively naturally
humble, charismatic, hardworking, and enduring for our family and loved ones. These characteristics are
what single out Filipinos to other nationals, characteristics that were deeply rooted in our culture. This is
the characteristics that we as Filipinos share and is therefore became our cultural identity as Filipinos.
Aside for the fact that we share the same skin color and language, this cultural identity that we share
speaks volumes to other nationals hence the demand for OFW around the world.
