5. PROJECT LOCATION:
At government water body (single location) located at NBPDCL circle, Darbhanga in the state of
Bihar.NOC for setting up of floating solar plant shall be provided to the successful bidder for a period of 25
years at no financial liability (no leasing cost will be applicable to the successful bidder). The water body
shall be handed over in suitable condition & hence it is advisable to visit the site to have detailed estimates,
before quoting of tariff for the project. Water body cleaning from water weeds shall be done by Procurer &
other development activities for project completion shall be in the scope of the bidder. Additional Land
required for installations related to plant setup shall also be arranged by the procurer near the water body.
A sub-clause clause (b) under clause (10.9.1) has been modified as:
b) Generation Compensation in off take constraints due to Grid Unavailability: During the operation of the
plant, there can be some periods where the plant can generate power but due to temporary transmission
unavailability the power is not evacuated, for reasons not attributable to the Solar Power Generator. In
such cases the generation compensation shall be addressed by the Procurer in following manner:

The generation loss by the FSPD shall be procured by the Procurer at 25 % of the PPA

Provided that as an alternative to the mechanism provided above in Clause 10.9.1, the Procurer may choose to
provide Generation Compensation, in terms of PPA tariff, for the Generation loss as defined in Clause 10.9.1,
and for Grid unavailability beyond 50 hours in a Contract Year as defined in the PPA.
