    The Sentence

    After midnight
    Before Dawn
    Casting no shadow
    Death walks
    In the moonlight

    Hearts pounding
    Illusions gathering
    Jaded voices
    Keep their appointment
    With silence

    Morning arrives
    Night flees
    Opening the window
    Perfumed air
    Chases away the fear

    Tempting Fate
    Unleashing Hope
    Valiantly defying Time
    With the strength
    Of Youth gone

    Age victorious
    Begins the new day
    Cherishing the moment
    Delighting in life
    Welcoming the sunlight.
