Application Layer Improvements

Attributes
• Radio_Access_Mode support has been added for 5GNR Handset types.

for all carriers. This can be combined with other attributes (for example, for LTE
DL carriers with attribute LTE_UE_EARFCN_DL_for_Carrier[]) to isolate a
particular carrier.

• The NR_UE_MCS_DL attribute has been updated to use a NR-specific format

group (NR-MCS) rather than re-using the LTE-specific format group.

• Improvements have been made to the stability of Analyzer when the Protocol
Stack Browser is used during an Analyzer session.

© 2019 – Proprietary Information of Actix Ltd, an Amdocs company Page 14 of 16

Documentation Changes
• Added attribute help descriptions of LTE expression attributes, to clarify that they
are evaluated as they are displayed, and that if their streamflag criteria are met
then they will appear in the Attribute Explorer, even if empty for the current
stream (this is expected behavior).

Limitations, Known Issues and Obsolescence

Windows 10 build 1809/1903 Spotlight support

• An issue has been detected in Spotlight during testing, regarding certain
combinations of Windows 10 builds 1809 / 1903, and Internet Explorer 11
Jscript9.dll updates. Spotlight is not currently certified to run under Windows 10
build 1809 or 1903. Windows 10 builds 1803 and earlier are unaffected.

End of Life of 32-bit support

• Advance notice is given that by the end of 2019, support for 32-bit Actix Analyzer
shall be deprecated.
