PROJECT WORK – PRELIMINARIES

INTRODUCTION
The relevant conditions and measures that the facilities and services in the environment must comply
with must guarantee access for people with disabilities, under equal conditions, to the physical
environment, taking into account the height, size, weight and needs of the person.

The theme of the project arose from the need to show the directors and students of the B1 course that
the san Antonio hospital presents architectural barriers which do not allow full access to the respective
facilities. The problem is the main sources that inhibit the transfer of people with disabilities, our
objective is to exhibit and identify the architectural barriers that hinder the full accessibility of people
with disabilities,

People with physical disabilities are those who have a significant decrease in the ability to
move one or more parts of the body. It can refer to decreased or incoordinated movement.
The functional mobility of these people requires good accessibility that allows anyone to
arrange and use buildings, services or products on an equal footing with others.
In the infrastructure of the Hospital, based on the photos taken of the Hospital facilities,
we found that accessibility is restricted due to architectural barriers such as poor location
and construction of ramps, narrow doors, absence of support bars in some bathrooms,
