WASHINGTON, D.C. – Citizens United today filed a new Freedom of

Information Act (FOIA) request with the Department of State. A summary of the
request can be found below:

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the

following information: All emails or text messages to or from the following
State Department officials relating to Hunter Biden, Jonathan Li, Hunter
Biden’s business dealings, or Hunter Biden’s schedule: former Ambassador
to China Gary Lock; former Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in
Beijing Daniel Kritenbrink; former Spokesperson and Press Attache at the
US Embassy in Beijing Richard L. Banguan; former Minister Counselor for
Trade Affairs at the US Embassy in Beijing Christopher Adams; former
Minister for Commercial Affairs at the US Embassy in Beijing William
Zarit; former Consul General at the US Embassy in Beijing Charles Bennett;
former Minister Counselor for Public Affairs Thomas Skipper.

The time period of the request is from 11/1/2013 to 1/1/2014.

I have a compelling need for expeditious handling—information provided

will be used for a time-sensitive project that will be made available to the
public.

This FOIA request has been received by the Department of State.
